Gabe’s is a brand-​new discount clothing store in this area, taking over the former Lowe’s location. Gabe’s occupies about half of the old Lowe’s location, so the rest of it actually still has the shape of Lowe’s. Anyway, they seem to have a wide selection of clothing for men, women and children, and smaller selections of electronics and household goods. Prices seem to be quite good, although do check any clothes you’re thinking of buying thoroughly for defects. Gabe’s sources their goods from closeouts, liquidations and odd lots, so not everything will be in perfect condition. Service seemed pretty good, although the checkout line does get slow at times.
