Amazing, very friendly and so accomodating! I was scheduled to get my hair blow dried and styled for my baby shower at another salon on Sunday morning. The salon was closed without notice and I went on wild hunt trying to find someone who would be willing to squeeze me in between appointments for a blow dry. This happened 2 hours before the event!
Not only did my stylist squeeze me in between his appointments, but I did not feel rushed at all. He took his time and gave me a beautiful blow out. I am definitely going to be back for more services once the baby is here!

Vincent cut my hair. I think he did a good job. The place is clean, staff are pleasant and try to welcome you and treat you with coffee.

This is an absolutely phenomenal hair salon. Gary is talented, professional, meticulous and talented! The décor is terrific and unique-​you could not be more comfortable! His prices are more than reasonable. His wife does an amazing job with nails as well as being an excellent stylist and colorist. Gary also gives a great massage (he trained as a physical therapist). What a friendly environment-​My hair has never looked better! i highly recommend!

I had a wonderful Brazailian Blowout experience here at Sonalia Hair Salon. It is a little hard to find, but that is my only complaint. Gary did a great job on my Brazilian Blowout and I will definitely return here for my next one. Very friendly and professional.
In response to the other commenter, Sonalia’s price for Brazilian Blowouts is actually very reasonable! I’ve payed upwards of $ 350 for the treatment before. It’s just a very expensive treatment.

A little off the beaten path. It’s not a store front but in an office building on the second floor. Good for me because I work in the same building. I think it would be worth the trouble of finding it for most people who want good quality service at a price that’s not rock bottom but way better than comparable service providers.
The operators are a young couple who are from Armenia. They exude hospitality and professionalism. They offer you coffee or something cold to drink, or a cookie or a snack.
I go for a $ 20 men’s haircut from Gary. It’s as good as any $ 40 cut I’ve gotten at a fancier place, including the high-​end salon located on the first floor of the same building. It’s not a quick haircut. He takes a lot of time and maybe could go faster if he had to. (I don’t know that spending more time makes his haircut any better, but since I like the result I’m not complaining.) My wife gets her eyebrows waxed from Gary’s wife. «Perfect,» she says. She drives out of her way to go there every six weeks. I think it’s $ 15 or $ 20 for the eyebrows. Wife also once got a «Brazilian blowout,» to straighten her wavy hair. Was supposed to last for three or more months. It did. She was happy with it. On the negative side, I think the treatment for a Brazillian Blowout is crazy expensive at $ 200 normally. Even on sale at half that, I don’t think it’s worth it. But, wife says it’s price-​competitive and she likes it. To each his /​her own, whatever.
Gary’s also a licensed massage therapist and they have a private massage room. Have not had a massage there yet. No plans to do so. His wife cuts hair, does mani-​pedi treatments and facials. No experience with any of these.
They’re not the cheapest place to go, but I think they provide similar results as the fancier salons up and down Chagrin for a fraction of the cost. And they give you free coffee and let me use their wireless when mine isn’t working. :-) They’re just genuinely nice, hard-​working people who are proud of their work.

Really like this salon. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed and mani-​pedi. It is clean and quiet. The owners are very pleasant. I am becoming a regular. Their prices are also very reasonable. I have recommended them to several people. I will be getting my hair cut next. Everyone I have sent there has also been pleased. They are hard working and very accommodating.
