Cleveland Wine Series is a scam, or at least certainly not as advertised. In the groupon(from Amazon Local, but they advertise on other sites), it was called a «wine education» event and touted how you would learn all about wine. Nonsense. Basically, this was a way to get people into the art gallery without the company having to pay for it. The only«education» available was a small printout about the wines, which you couldn’t even read because it was too crowded. The so-called wine experts couldn’t even answer a basic question properly(why the alcohol content differs in wine) and were really just there to pour. I was not alone in assuming this was an EDUCATION event as others asked when the program was starting. Cleveland Wine Series is a scam to get you in the door. People just stood around awkwardly because nobody really knew what was going on. Look up a how-to guide on wine tasting and then just go to a local vineyard or reputable wine dealer for a tasting. The wines weren’t even that good. With the coupon, my friend and I spent $ 20 on admission and $ 10 on the tastings. Learned nothing. I wrote this in the hopes that I can prevent others from getting taken by the scam that is the Cleveland Wine Series.
