Place and food great. Very relaxed and chilled. Staff is totally cool. Great place to hang out, play good music.

We won’t be back. If I could give this place zeros stars I would. Extremely slow and unprofessional service. Our waitress took our order and after about 35 min asked if we had eaten yet? What? You didn’t bring us our food. What are you thinking? She went into the kitchen and asked about our order. The cook/​owner screamed so loudly that it made heads turn. He pretty much yelled at his staff the entire time we were there. After another 30 minutes our food finally arrived and it left much to be desired. Seemed like frozen fish that was thrown into the deep fryer.
I had low expectations due to the fact that it’s a dive clam bar but never did I expect to hear the owner/​cook lose his temper at his staff the entire night. No one should be allowed to treat anyone the way he treated his employees. Avoid this place at all costs.

HORRIBLE! DISGUSTING! WORST SERVICE I ever experienced! Our family arrived with three children, there were no people waiting ahead of us. Yet 2 ½ hours later we never received any waters or food! After an hour of waiting we asked one of the teenagers working there if our food would be out soon and if we could get
some water, however we were ignored. The after two hours when we went up to the hostess to ask if we could speak to the manager or owner, they directed us to what seemed like a teenager behind the bar. We explained to her that other smaller groups of guests and family members of the workers that were arriving were getting served before us and that we have not even received any water. She grabbed her crotch and said «go fuck yourself». We are three times her age with young children there. I should have called the police. But instead we asked for our money back. She ignored us. We went to another teenager
working there and asked for our money back because it was now over two hours and we had not yet received our food. He said that they were not allowed to give money back. We asked to speak to the owner. The owner came to our table and said «i’m asking you to leave my establishment». We said we would love to, however they won’t give us our money back and it’s been over two hours and won’t give us any food either. He walked away what we assumed was to speak to the chef to find out why, when we followed him to the booth he demanded we leave. I think this place is a scam just trying to get money without serving food.
They do not even deserve one star. When I threatened to call the police, he gave us our food money back but not our $ 40 tip.
The owner never even asked us what was the problem or apologized!!!
Do not go here, the bugs eat u alive, and the filthy place smells as u wait 2 ½ hours for food that never comes!!!

One of my all time favorites. Right on the water, lobster done to perfection, ice cold beers, crab cake sandwich, lots of crab little filler. Thumbs Up

Breaded clams were all breading, $ 25 for lobster roll that was mostly lettuce on the bun. Charged $ 2.50 for a 8 oz Iced Tea and then charged me $ 2.50 for a refill! Asked to see manager and the 18 yr old waiter said he is the manager. get real dude!

Not sure why this place took some knocks from other reviewers. I assume they thought they were getting something other than what it is– a fun, clam shack, almost barefoot kind of experience. We love the little beer and wine stand, and think the young women serving are friendly and their level of service is appropriate for a place to grab a cold beer and some calamari or a small lobster when you’re in shorts and flip flops. I wouldn’t change a thing. And for the folks complaining about the service I’d suggest a more formal dining experience. This place is for the Jimmy Buffet crowd.
Fried calamari is not over breaded or cut to thinly that you can’t taste the squid. Lobster special is small but satisfying, served with corn on the cob, not bad for $ 19. The brownie served with ice cream, chocolate sauce and whipped cream is beyond good. I think the secret is that the brownie is fresh and chewy, not dry or previously frozen like we so often get. For those of us brownie experts, it’s kinda like the perfect, incredibly rich brownie pulled out of the oven just a bit early for that extra deeply rich, chocolaty gooeyness we so desperately crave.

Perfect location, unfortunately disorganized, slow and they run out of good beer.
We had nice waitresses, but they should change the owner. Food was ok, prices too.

Horrible! I went to order food from where I thought you just order and was told there are waitresses and to take a seat which was kinda odd. I sit down and wait and a few mins went by and got annoyed and walked out. The service was horrible I think they had 2 waitresses but they just kept walking passed my table. Never going back!

We’ve been meaning to rent a little boat and go fishing since the weather broke and Saturday was that perfect day. Cooler– check! Poles– check! Bait, lures, beer, ice, radio, sunblock — - check! We have everything we need for some fun in the sun, but now we’re hungry so why don’t we grab a bite to eat before we go? Good move– we saw them preparing some lobster salad when we were looking over the brochures. A shady table overlooking the water with incredible views and ice cold beer, perfect. The lobster roll and the lobster salad were both really good but probably not worth the $ 18.95 we paid to eat on paper plates and plastic cups. Two lobster salad meals and three beers– $ 56.90 CHECK! Renting the boat was a snap and a nice young gentleman showed us how to operate the motor and showed where to go. $ 80.00 for four hours with an additional returnable $ 25.00 deposit for the boat. We were able to explore a little bit of the area around our new home town and overall enjoyed the experience.

The best part of the meal was the view. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, soup was fresh and the fried clams were good too.
The view and smell of the water were great. Take into account that marina food is mostly fried, burgers and steamed local seafood so we have a lot to compare to. We had a great time, but to compare to some of the other seafood I have enjoyed 3 stars is a pretty good rating.

It reminds me of a crappier version of my backyard with deep fried food. Went one time and my buddies gf found a hair in her food. The manager came over, took a look and then accused us of putting a hair in the food to get a free meal. Huh. This is a married couple in their 30’s who make 7 figures (lucky %$#%). End result is he wouldn’t take it off of the bill, wouldn’t bring out any other food and told us to pay the bill and leave. Egh. I don’t like a judge a place by one bad incident (even if it was the manager) so I’ll move on…
You can tell by the pics it’s a simple, small outdoor place. Plastic outdoor tables and chairs with a menu of 90% fried food. You do have a nice view of a small boat dock, but that is quickly marred by the construction and congestion on the other side of the road. If your on a boat they will let you tie up and take you to the shore (+1 star) which is cool. If you need a cold brew, some fries and you want to step off your boat for a hot sec than this place will suit your your needs to a T. Otherwise, if you have any other options or intentions, head elsewhere.

great food, great scenery… it’s been over 2 years i’ve been craving this place! when it comes to steamers, hands down… they got it! unfortunately, we (a group of 20) walked in «in search of» steamers, had high expectations.
we were seated early, this is an unnoticeable dine’n dive place in the oyster bay area. the food came out promptly… we were told ahead of time, there we no steamers. we understood… one of us jokingly said we’ll wait for it… i guess the owner overheard that. when we were done, we were patiently waiting about a little over 30 minutes for our bill, though some of us already paid… while waiting, i’ve gotten conformation that another location had steamers in stock! the owner came over to our group and stated that steamers won’t be here till 3pm… we understood him the first time. he also mentioned to us that there are other people waiting… how fucking rude! that pissed me off! i stood up and replied, «we know you don’t have steamers! we came here for something you advertise you have, but don’t stock it! we’ve been waiting for our bill, where the hell is it?»
his approach on turning tables was not good for business.

now… i have nothing to say. it was very unprofessional the way we were treated, yet we still have to wait an extra 10 minutes for our bill… there were 3 girls (they looked kind of new) untrained, that had no clue what was going on. the place wasn’t even busy! before we left to get our steamers, i approached the owner, face to face… i asked him, how can you advertise something, and NOT COME THRU? how can you treat your customers like that? he said, «SORRY.» i said, «i had to say SORRY to the 20 people i brought… NEVER AGAIN!!»

NEVER AGAIN will I be going back to this place!
I came here with a group of friends to relax on a lazy Sunday and arrived around noon time. This restaurant was said to me as the place for steamers, but unfortunately they never got their delivery in time and I was told that they’re coming in about an hour when we got seated. As all of my friends ordered away and some were still eating away, the waitress informed us that the steamers won’t be delivered until 3pm, which was about 2 hours away. Therefore, we asked for the check while we searched for another restaurant that was close by to continue our Sunday activities.
While we were waiting for the check, a guy in an orange polo came over and asked «Are you guys all here waiting for the steamers? They’re not coming in anytime soon and we need to turn tables and you guys cant’ just sit and wait here!»
EXCUSE ME???
I was furious! Service was slow and laid back in which I didn’t mind, but to tell us to get up and get out while we were still eating because you didn’t have enough seating? UNACCEPTABLE!
I approached the guys that were cooking by the counter then to find out that RUDE individual is the OWNER of the restaurant.
I went inside and spoke with him letting him know that was the most inappropriate and rudest thing to say to your patrons! We came here for something that you couldn’t serve due to a delivery problem. We got it! In a world where customer service is key, this place certainly DID NOT deliver! Customer service pays! The Owner eventually had to apologize, but the apology wasn’t heartfelt. It came across to me that he had to say it because he knew he messed up. What a shame!
The only thing that I’m giving the one star to is the backdrop of Oyster Bay. They didn’t even get to earn ¼ of a star in my opinion. Food was mediocre, waitress service was ok.

Great views of Oyster Bay on the deck, reasonably price beer, food and friendly service. Don’t be one of those people who order snapper from a steakhouse and go home angry; this place is a clam shack so stick with the simple seafood and you won’t be disappointed.
Find myself arriving by Jetski fairly often, just a great little low key spot on the water.

Though the view is nice and, the food isnt worth the money, and have to agree with posts below the service leaves alot to be desired, everything comes basically cold, the fries arent cooked and tasted weird. Its basically a no frills kind of place and I have no problem with that at all, just like my food at least warm when it arrives!

This place is great. Simple no-​frills but with a georgrous view just feet from the water and even though the food is simple it is fresh and well cooked. The lobsters are a special bargain.
Bonus No1: if you have kids they can play on the beach right next to your table
Bonus No2: BRING YOUR OWN WINE!
Update: went again for the first time this year and service was not as friendly and the lobsters were a little tough & overcooked. Also they were not craked properly so I had to open my wifes since she simply could not get into it. I ordered grilled shrimp for my daughter and she got just six shrimp on a few letuce leaves… overall it was not the experience we were accustomed to here, I wonder if it has new owners?

I love this place in the summer (the only time it is open). This is a no frills alternative to driving the rest of the way over to Bayville. It is basically a clam shack tucked into the marina right over the bridge from oyster bay to bayville.
Nothing special to look at, there is a deck area that is covered and a small «bar» area that is nothing more than something you would get at Sears and put in your own yard.
The beer is sold in cans out of coolers and it is usually VERY cold and pretty cheap.
The food is 90% fried. They also do steamed lobsters and raw items like clams on the half shell.
A great place to have a cheap lunch or dinner. Parking kind of sucks as people using the marina also use the same lot and there is usually a giant forklift driving back and forth putting boats in and out of the water. On a busy day cars are parked EVERYWHERE.
Service can be a bit overwhelmed at times– depends on how much wait staff are on but it never seems as if they have enough people to keep up with the crush.
Personally, I like to swig a few brews, eat some fried clams, people watch and get some sun there.
