Worst management team. As bad as the one they just replaced. 3 times they’ve promised me a downstairs apartment only to tell me they«rented it out the day before» once I’m in the office. I even gave the girl a check for the deposit on Sunday so I could transfer to a downstairs unit and was called the following WEDNESDAY to say«sorry, we shouldn’t have told you it was available, it was rented out on Saturday». REALLY? It took you 3 days to figure that out? Was I offered anything as a «sorry»? No! The manager basically brushed me off. I tried to complain about the whole thing and she was simply apathetic. Has the gym ever been completed in the 6 months I’ve been here? NO. Will it be in the future? I doubt it. Guess that part of my rental fee is just a loss. Rest assured, I won’t be renewing my lease here.

Worse. Office. Staff. Ever. Some of the rudest, unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. Speak to you like you are a prisoner and you have no rights. Will let themselves into your apartment without notice. Three months into a one year lease and I still have exposed wires in my ceiling for a light fixture that is supposedly on back order. There are some incredibly trashy tenants in $ 1000+ apartments that are poorly remodeled. Needless to say, I will not be renewing my lease.

I have lived here for 2 years. I do not recommend it at all. There are a number of maintenance problems including major plumbing problems. There are many mornings when the parking lot is full of sewage or the water has been turned off without notification. Management is poor. They are raising the rate a lot due to remodeling but a fresh coat of paint can’t fix the problems.

After living here for about 5 months, I am very pleased with the apartments. I like the location and how it seems right in the middle of town. The building and living spaces are nice. Most everything is modern and fresh looking. The cabinets are disappointing as they do not have handles on them. And unfortunately our washer and dryer did not fit in the space given in the apartment. Their maintenance crew is very quick to fix any problems that you report. The pool always seems clean and family friendly. Rent prices are reasonable, but maybe a little higher than I’d like to pay for what they offer. Overall, happy to live here with my small family.

I am a seasoned recruiter in medical staffing industry, who specializes in corporate housing nationwide. I recently had the challenge of setting up housing in Baytown, TX and chose Stonebrook Apartments. This process began on December 28th, 2012 and continues to be unresolved today, January 11, 2013. It began with giving me the incorrect application for a corporate apartment rental. I had to postpone furniture delivery, cable/internet connection, and electricity turn-on. I wasn’t provided the correct application until the day my employee was scheduled for move in to her apartment. My employee had already checked out of her hotel, packed her belongings into her car and went to work, planning to move in after her long work day. She had to return to the hotel for another night. After the corporate application was finally approved on January 9th, we did not receive a phone call with the information. I received the lease on January 10th at 1:44. After which I was instructed to sign the lease and have it notarized. The key could not be given to my employee until the executed and notarized 30 page lease was returned. Read more:
