Phoebe is my go-​to gal in Baytown. Fast, efficient and knows how to do anything I show her!!! Always gets me an appt & she never disappoints! Now my Mom uses her exclusively too!!!

I really enjoy coming here. They never disappoint. Every technician I’ve used has always went above and beyond to give me the best experience possible. They usually even massage my legs and feet longer than any other nail salon I’ve been to, which is my favorite part of getting pedicures! Since there are quite a few technicians, they will even shellac my nails while I’m getting my pedicure. Everyone is very friendly and offer quick service without sacrificing quality.

Pretty awful and uncomfortable experience here right from the start. As we walked to the door, 4 – 5 of the technicians were smoking right in the doorway. I had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get inside. That put a bad taste in my mouth… AND clothes!
The male technician who was to do my nails forced me into an already crowded row when the other chairs and rows were open. I had to squeeze past two other women and ended up stepping on both of their purses. I was so close to the woman next to me that our elbows were touching.
The technician was extremely rude, short tempered, quick and did an AWFUL job on my nails. He missed the sides of my nails and didn’t do enough coats. I can see the clear nail underneath the shoddy paint job. I paid 35 $ for a refill on a set of gel nails and these nails aren’t worth 10 $. He was in such a hurry to get back to his video poker and cigarettes that he didn’t give a crap about the job he was doing.
I came here strictly because of the close proximity to my home and I paid for it. This place is awful, expensive and full of employees who want the customers to know how much they hate their jobs.
I’ll stick go Couture Nails in Deer Park.

My sister and I went to get refills. The man doing her nails was so rude and even slapped her hand one point for moving. We were not impressed with the price or the service. Go somewhere else for kindness and patient employees!

VIP Nails is the worst!!! They rush you through everything and the job is never at its best… Then they want you to pay high dollar which I do not mind but the job done to my nails or pedi are never done right. And they are rude when you tell them the job is not done right… I guess they do not have a college degree so that is why they are not so educated as how to treat real customers. Oh and when I was there for about 1 hour they kept laughing and talking bad about a customer who was over weight and it was so obvious since they kept staring at her and kept walking buy her to see what was being done to her… but I saw how they sold her on the top $$$ pedicure she was getting. Wow I really felt bad for her and to think she was paying $$$ for bad service. This is no excuse as how to treat a customer… I really wanted to tell the lady to run and get out of VIP nail salon because she did not need that from them. The Vietnamese need to have guts and talk in English about any customer they want to trash and see how fast they will stop having clientele and VIP nails will no longer be in business. Never go to this place it is so trashy. Maybe others have had a good experience but they have gone down hill and only want to hurry and finish the job. And the old lady who does eyebrows diged in her nose while she was doing my eyebrows which she did do a great job on my eyebrows but she never cleaned her hands and still continued to finish my eyebrows… I rushed home to wash my face so many times. Yuck sanitary is something they need to do as well. Beware never go to VIP nails in Baytown.
In the past when I lived in the Galleria area for many years, the service and care at a Galleria nail salon is what I am use to. they even bring you hot tea, water or wine. And the prices are much better. So when I have a trip out there I make sure to stop at my usual nail salon in the galleria area… I love the way they pamper me.

I have been here on more than 1 occasion never being really satisfied but continuing to think it would get better. After yesterday’s visit I will not be back. I went in for a mani pedi. The pedi– toenails cut uneven, paint job was a mess, spa portion was mediocre. Mani– nails cut and filed to different lengths, she didn’t paint the entire nail left the sides with no polish. I asked her to fix it and she said the lighting caused her to not notice if she colored it all and that she was trying to make my nail look straight by not adding polish to either side. My cousin and her daughter were with me and had the same poor result. When they put my cousin’s flipflop on they messed up one of the already poorly painted nails and she had to ask them 2 times to fix it. I left this place and went directly to a different nail place for them to be repainted. This place is a waste of money and takes no pride in their work.

Came here about 1month ago. Clearly am not from around here am a Cali girl. On Mother’s Day I walked in and thought it would be sweet to pamper myself to texas nail shops that have hot rocks, stones to put On your feet while you relax and so on. I found a nice Chinese guy that had recently moved here from California so he guided me threw. Everything was so smooth and nice but I noticed I was the only one getting a regular set of a mani and pedi and everyone else had bubbling water and hot stones and warm towels on there legs. So I went on with my session, after I was done I proceeded to get my eyebrows waxed with this short older Chinese lady that is very outspoken lol which I thought was pretty funny, she did an excellent job on my eyebrows she fixed my eyebrows that were both uneven high five girl. As I was checking out I noticed I had a balance of $ 74 my mind went blank my jaw dropped and I totally went clueless ! Why did I owe so much when I only got a regular set of mani and pedi and my eyebrows waxed, I was so unhappy. Am used to paying about $ 42 for gel mani and pedi in Cali .plus my eyebrows waxed I get for free because I know the owners in California and they see am loyal customer and I always spend more then enough money in there shops. I was shocked here in Texas on how much I paid. Can’t go there nomore. Can anyone tell me where I can get a well done job and good pricing on nails here in Baytown texas. (am only giving it a star because the eyebrow waxing with the Chinese lady was a well done job, because my mani and pedi cracked and peeled after 3days)

Worst place in Baytown to get a mani pedi. The staff is incredibly rude and offer mediocre results. My pedicure was chunky and you could see the brush strokes and the guy acted like it was perfect then yelled at me for not choosing the color I wanted in the first place. He couldn’t believe I was asking him to redo it. He then proceeded to tell everyone else around him that he had to redo this pedicure. I will NEVER return here.

How horrible. I’m so disappointed with my experience today! The staff is beyond rude. I went in for pedicure and shellac with a simple Polk a dot design. First… they soaked my whole hand in acetone and used a file to get off the old shellac. We know this is not the correct method and the nails should have been soaked individually with foil. Anyways it just got worse. The lady was so rude to me I couldn’t believe it. She asked what color. I told her I have a picture of the design and was trying to show it to her. She snapped at me and replied «no picture just tell me… I don’t want picture I’ll get confused». I told her and kept to myself. She made me turn off the chair and complained the whole time about the design. She was obviously talking rudely about me to the lady who did my feet. This person was much more pleasant but the pedicure is nothing to brag about. She up sold me on the deluxe pedicure and basically rubbed my legs instead of a massage. The towels and rocks were way too hot. So while my feet were burning, the manicurist was snapping at me about the design and turning off the chair and blah blah blah. 70 bucks later I wanted to get the hell out of there! I’ve never write a bad review only good ones but honestly this was such a terrible experience it’s necessary. The fact that I am taking time out of my day to warn people I don’t know to stay away should mean something. I wish I spoke to the manager about their service but honestly I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. Terrible.

Paid for the $ 35 dollar pedicure and didn’t even add salts to the water, she also used super-​hot stones and burned my leg. My shellac manicure was mediocre and even after asking him to fix it, it looked the same. The shellac looks like it already needs to be re-​done and the manicure looks rushed. Will not be coming here ever again.

I stopped going to TC and CJ as they are owned by one individual who became quite comfortable with and began to expect my money… However, after approximately 5 visits, this place is doing the same. I’ll continue to try to patronize this place because I enjoy the speedy service, plentiful workers, and overall set up. What I don’t like is that there are absolutely no windows and the women are somewhat snappy and rude – all of them. I have been serviced by 2 women and experienced such for myself while noticing the frowns on the faces of other women as well.
I’m especially pissed off with their loyal program for cash paying customers, that was never brought to my attention. For some reason, all but the last time I visited, I have paid with cash. However, as I waited for the receipt of my recent credit card transaction, I noticed a small printing of so many points being offered for so many cash dollars spent to eventually equal some sort of free service. However, I am not at all surprised with a business trying to keep all profits in-​house…

Horrible service. I have no other way to describe it. Had shellac put on my nails by them and I liked it so I came back after it was wearing down to have another color put on. Asked for a color from their display, she couldn’t find it. Chose another color, couldn’t find that one. Then I was looking for a third color, which I had not planned on doing, and the employee got pissed off I was taking so long, and rushed me to chose a color. Chose a third color, and we proceeded to the table. Based on other locations and friends input, the best way to remove the old shellac is place acetone on it and let sit, then rub off after softening. The employee instead decided to sand the shellac off. When I asked about it, she got more pissed off and said this is the best way to do it. She not only sanded the shellac off, but also a significant portion of my natural nail. To try to fix this, she insisted that I don’t want shellac and I should apply powder nails. I told her I like my natural nails, and I didn’t want fake nails applied. She seemed irritated again, so by this time I just wanted out io there. I told her just apply clear to my nail, which further pissed her off based on the heavy sigh and evil look I got. With the clear applied, I had long white ridges and spots on my nails from where she sanded my nails. I asked her what can be done, to which she applied another layer of clear and said, «There, happy now?» Nothing changed. She then stood up, said she was done dealing with me, and walked away. Manager came over, said I stilled owed them $ 17. I am not one to walk out on a bill, so I paid and expressed my complaints which nobody seemed to care. I have never written a review online, be it Unilocal/​Amazon/​etc but this place made me feel horrible. I have never been treated like this before in my life, I am unsure what I did to piss this lady off, but she sure should not be dealing with customers. Management didn’t really do much either to alleviate the problem, other than take my money. With so many other salons in Baytown, they might want to treat customers with more respect. Hopefully this review helps those who are shopping for a salon, keep looking.

If you like someone who’s thorough and scrubs your feet be sure to ask for that. If you are tender footed ask for someone gentle. If you need an acrylic specialist ask for Ryan or Heather. If you are über picky tell them so they can match you with the right tech. Remember everyone has different taste and the techs have different specialties. Speak up and they are more than accommodating!

Terrible service. Techs are rude and don’t listen to what you want. I complained about the bumps and smears on my nails and tech respondrd, design will cover uo. I didn’t want a design but they did one and it did not Co et up and, you can barely see the design!

Vinny is the MAN for a honey milk pedicure! I haven’t had a foot/​leg massage this good in over a decade.

This place is okaay. A bit pricey but resonable. My pedicure WAS AWESOME. But my full set didn’t meet my expectations. It was rushed, and didnt last long.

Too crowded. Went with my sister and her lady was very pushy and with attitude. She was rough with my sister the whole time. And every time she mentioned it she just ignored her. My guy never asked me what I wanted to get done just sat down and started working. My nails were not cut right and are not even. They seemed to be in a rush and like we were an inconvenience. It was our first time there and our last.

This nail salon surprised me because it totally looks elegant and relaxing when you step in. The décor is cute. There is a HUGE selection on nail polishes and shelliac/​gelish colors. The service is fast; they have 2 – 3 people (guys and girls) working on you at one time. Only reason why they don’t receive 5 stars is because they filed off my previous shelliac off, which hurted and probably messed up my natural nails. Also, the job the guy did on my mani was okay. This is a good quick mani fix place to go.

Great place. Great staff. Beautiful. Kind of expensive.
