Love Sharon and her team (specially Coco), they always went above and beyond. The place is clean, the services are awesome. Sharon has been color, highlight and cut my hair for the past few years, she does amazing job. She listens to what you want and comes up with great ideas when you give her the «I don’t know what I want… I just want something different». My teenager son will not go to anyone besides Sharon. Ricky also does great job on med and Ped, love that I could go one place and does it all.

Sharon, Coco and Kevin all have an amazing talent with hair. They give you exactly what you ask for. Have been coming here for the past 3 year. Must try their keratin, hair manicure and highlights. They add a hair treatment in your color and highlights that prevents the process from damaging your hair. Thank you guys for everything!!!

Sharon is the only person I trust to cut my hair. I go here about every 2 weeks and she never lets me down! A friend introduced me to her and I’m so happy to have found her! The best.

I go their every3 week Kevin is the best man to look for, he know what I wanted, make it perfect.

Great hair salon. Very nice place that I often go. Kevin is the only one I trust there. Cuz he provide me a lot of helpful suggestion on protecting my hair. Also, the hair style always look perfect by his hand. I’ve been to other hair salon, the people over there won’t be as patient as he did. I keep choosing this place in bayside even though I live in Flushing!!! Highly recommend this salon, you won’t be disappointed.

I am really like this place! I go there all the time. The service is excellent and I’ve never had issues with appointments or quick walk in service. Sharon is always so nice and so are the rest of the staff.

It’s not just a women’s salon. Sharon does an awesome job. Quick and very precise, she consistently gives a nice haircut every time I go. Bottom line, I’m not going to another barber again.

Up dated review because today was second time getting my hair done at l&j elegant beauty salon. I am very satisfied with their customer service and professionalism. I had another stylist the first time I visited this place, but today his busy, I chose Sharon, she did great job balayage ombré, Really love my hair hope I can keep up with it. :D

Sharon gave me such a great haircut, She is very personable and talented with her scissors. Def recommend her!

Sharon is amazing! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and lightened my super dark hair as much and as non damaging to my hair as possible. All the staff is very friendly.

2 of my good friends have been going to her for years. Over the span of a year I went to her 3 times to dye my hair.
I first wanted a light brown during the winter but Sharon said it wasn’t the right season to do it and said to trust her and I left with brown hair which i didn’t want but didn’t mind.
The second time was the beginning of summer and I wanted to go really light and ended up wanting blonde. Since she bleached my hair before putting another dye I told her to leave it and left happy.
The third time time I brought a friend who she knew but squeezed her in. (Keep in mind her dog dead the day before. I thought this would be the best way to put a smile on my friend’s face) I got in around 3pm. I asked Sharon for black roots to brown to blonde ombré with highlights. Keep in mind I’m still blonde but she decided to put bleach in my hair again then start doing the ombré process. Then the salon started to get busy. She forgot about me and decided to put a different dye to tone it down but my hair ended up turning out brown. She said she wasn’t done then tried to put black dye in my hair but that was no where near what I want. I ended up leaving at 8pm. My hair was so dry and I ended up coming back the next day to fix it and for free of course because it looked like I had grey hair. She tried to make the excuse that she forgot about my hair cause I brought a friend in but she said it was okay when I called in to ask.
My hair is soooooooooo damaged after going to her. I have so many split ends that I cut a lot off. My long hair was in the middle of back and now shoulder length thanks to her.
Never going back!!! Not only had she damaged my hair, I never realized a few others friends stopped going to her for the same reason.

I have been going here for years. It’s great, I never had a bad hair cut. I will say they straighten the crap out your hair. I miss when it was Oki, but it’s still good.

I’m terrified of getting haircuts so I was pretty nervous when I stopped by here, but my friend recommended Sharon so I figured I would go. I told her that I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year and that I wanted to keep as much length as possible and add some layers to frame the face in the front. She did exactly what I asked for while keeping my hair long! She was very quick and did the job well! She also blow dried and waved my hair. I rarely leave a hair salon happy so I’m glad I came here!

Sharon is an awesome hairstylist and treats her customers well. She charges good prices and is very knowledgeable about her craft, especially in hair coloring. I could go on about how good she is (I’ve known her for years), but you should see for yourself how she does her best for her clients.
