Shady! My teeth look great no pain just wanted a cleaning that’s it she basically told me I need new teeth are u kidding me avoid at all costs if u want your teeth

Came here for a cleaning since they take my insurance. The cleaning was very quick and not that thorough. She didn’t even check for cavities… just started cleaning. The office is small and equipment looks out dated.
My concern is the cleanliness. The cavitron tip that she used was from a plastic box that was already opened. It looked like a little tool box. She just dug through the box and took one out and used it on my teeth. Shouldn’t all equipment be from a bag?

I went to dr. hart for a cleaning she told me i needed an implant and i might have an absess… i had a second opinion with someone i trust and his advice was i hope u have a good pair of sneakers because my advice to u is to run as fast as u can lol

I am severely disappointed with this dentist. Alla Hart was extremely impatient and ROUGH when she did my teeth cleaning. The worst part of it all was that she was WRONG and claimed that I had a few cavities and needed fillings. At that point, I was mortified of the thought of having to come back into her office for MORE work done. She practically bruised my gums during the cleaning. I ended up going for a second opinion at a PROFESSIONAL dentist office and was told I don’t have cavities. It’s a shame I had to spend my own money again just to confirm that she doesn’t know what she is doing.

I have been going to Dr. Hart for a few years now, and out of all the dentists I have been to, she is one of the best. She is very gentle and does a great job. She is extremely friendly and going to her is always a pleasure. She is very attentive and caring. I have recommended her to my family and friends and received only positive feedback.

Please avoid this office! I don’t really write reviews unless I feel strongly about a business. This office is a scam! I went in for a teeth cleaning; she did the bottom half of my teeth and told me to come back for another visit to clean the upper half. This doesn’t make sense! That means I have to pay again for next visit. She just wanted to double the insurance money/​co pay. I will never go back there again and certainly tell anyone I know to avoid them!

Was told on the phone by the receptionist that teeth-​cleaning would cost me less than $ 10 with my insurance. Walked out with paying about 60-​something bucks for deep cleaning. Now don’t get me wrong. She is a fine dentist and did look like she is good at what she does.
My problem with this place lies in,
1. Obviously no fantastic level of communication between the dentist and her staff members — or it could be just that they like to push and sell for a deep cleaning.
2. She didn’t care about the pain I was in when she doing the cleaning on my teeth. I expressed that I was in pain a few times while she was picking at my teeth. She showed no concern nor did she stop when I had stinging nerve pains right through the back on my head. That sucked the most for me as a patient visiting a DENTIST. Are you serious?
3. Receptionists call me every month or two to schedule a check up. This is okay but I’ve never had a doctor’s office calling straight to my phone and asking to set up an appt. The funny thing is, one receptionist called right the day after I had my cleaning done. Again, no communication.
For what it’s worth, I am satisfied with the result from the cleaning I’ve received and the x-​ray checkup. However, if you like going to a dentist who certainly displays no concern for your pain while she’s doing her work on you, this is your gal.

First, the office is tiny, which is okay considering its bell i’m sure rent aint cheap.
Secondly, the equipment looks old, which is fine if they keep it clean

–theres only 2 rooms there, and only 1 room had the xray thing so i was literally moved 4x in the whole hour i was there. REALLY? okay fine
–i dont have dental insurance so i appreciated it when the Dentist asked me if i wanted all 6 xrays taken or just the 1 that i have a tooth ache one. it was $ 10 v $ 35 so i figured might as well do all. fine. i KNEW i needed a root canal even before spending $ 95 on todays visit, but I also know they need to know that as well before getting any work done.
receptionist comes in the room, gives me a paper and pen with $ 1355 bill and shes like here this is what she recommends, sign when you’re ready. I have no idea what the charges are even are. Dr Hart walks in the room and goes, okay ready for to be numb again? (YES BC IM IN PAIN) and hands me the pen. I’m like what? shes like we’re starting the root canal now. (NOBODY told me i needed one yet) and im like oh we are doing it now? and she starts to get impatient. okay fine, time is money. so i ask her what needs to be done exaclty and how that works. she says you need a root canal, a staff, and a crown. and looks at the pen again wanting me to sign.
um. What about my other teeth? I might as well ask since I paid for it. she then glances over and say oh one more cavity. and I had to ask her where. she told me. then tries to start the root canal again.
i told her i needed to think about it, and she starts to give me an attitude., like. «listen, what are you here for?!»
I said I needed to think about it, and she literally said «ok but im not gonna give you any more nova cane» and walks out of the room. LOL
I was actually ready to do it bc im was in so much pain, i just wanted to see if I’d have to go back again, how many visits it took, etc. but she did not give me the time of day.
She did not even do anything on me, so i cannot vouch for how good or bad her dental skills. but i’m giving this 2 stars based on the way i was treated.
By the way, the person helping her out (idk what they are called, hygienists? assistant?) is supper nice. i like her mucho.
it sucks because this is actually the cheapest place to get it done too. but if I’m going to spend $ 1300, I’d like to spend somewhere where the Dentist is at least nice to me.

I went to Dr. Hart with my groupon certificate and she did a great job. I came all the way from stonybrook they sat me down even though i was late. the office is a bit small but it was fine, no one was waiting, they seemed to be very good about that. dr hart was really good and thorough. she gave me a really good cleaning and did a treatment plan on me. shes really funny and down to earth (the whole staff actually is too). i felt really comfortable with them. I made an appointment with her to get my defective metal fillings out and came back that sunday, she was super gentle, the white fillings look just like my teeth, and she was reasonably priced!
needless to say my entire family goes to her now

I had a groupon also. Dr. Hart was not very patient and the cleaning finished within 5 min. There was only one another patient so she didn’t need to hurry that much. I was so disappointed. She mentioned me about the periodontitis but she said my gum was healthy. It doesn’t make sense. She didn’t give me a face paper towel and her cleaning technique was very rough, so all of my face got wet.
The office and rooms were very tight and looked very old.
I guess $ 49 groupon is only for X-​ray. The receptionist, who was very very nice, told me that regular price for cleaning was $ 75. Well, it’ll never happen.

I went to Dr. Hart with a $ 49 Groupon for a cleaning, X-​rays and exam. That is exactly what I received. No more, no less.
Once in the chair, I was back out in 15 minutes (20 if I want to be generous). This is including the X-​rays and cleaning. Dr. Hart did not make any attempt at getting to know me or try and chit chat. She did not even ask me if I had concerns or anything I wanted to discuss regarding my oral hygiene. She didn’t ask me what my habits were and if I flossed. So, of course, she never chastised me for not flossing enough. In the end, the receptionist didn’t ask if I wanted to schedule my next appointment in a few months and there was no goodie bag with toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss.
Don’t get me wrong. There was nothing wrong with the cleaning. If that is all you are looking for, then she is perfectly capable. There was just nothing personal behind this visit. Nothing extra. Nothing that makes me say to myself, «Wow, she’s great! I’m definitely going back because she cares about me and my health.»
I was just hopeful when I saw a neighborhood dentist on Groupon. I don’t regret the visit for the price I paid. My teeth are cleaner.

There aren’t many instances where people actually enjoy going to their dentist. However, this is the case when it comes to Dr. Alla Hart. From her bubbly personality to her high expertise in dental work you can’t go wrong when choosing her as your dentist. Her office not only offers the latest technological advancements in the field of dentistry, but also has one of the most friendliest atmospheres I have ever encountered. Her staff is very helpful and answer any questions you may have. Dr. Hart is an extremely knowledgable and caring dentist that shows a genuine compassion for each and every one of her patients. Even when her office is closed she will make a sacrifice by going to her office as soon as possible if one of her patients has an emergency. She is not only an amazing dentist, but also a true artist. My entire family started going to her 3 years ago and we have never been more satisfied with our dental experience. In my lifetime I have changed dentists 6 times. With A+ dental, the entire process of going to the dentist has turned into a quick and painless experience and I recommend Dr. Alla Hart in my highest regard.

Dr. Hart is truly one of the best dentists out there. I went in terrified of the dentist but she and her staff were so gentle. She was very patient with me and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I switched to her immediately! Her office is VERY clean and technologically up to date– she has computers in every room, digital xrays, lasers machines. Very impressive! I’ve recommended her to all my family and friends.

It made me give a star or else she would have none! She was HORRIFIC!!!
I called to make an appointment and told the girl who answered the phone that I was petrified of the dentist. She was very reassuring, telling me that Dr. Hart just wants to help people. She is very gentle and caring. I went in with extreme dental pain and I had an abscess. She looked at it. and said we need to pull the tooth. I was in such extreme pain at that point I was going to pull it out myself. She did not refer me out to someone else to pull it, she did it right there and then. She gave me Novocaine and I told her that I have a very high tolerance to it and need a lot. She gave me one more shot and started digging and pulling. The pain was the worst thing I have ever felt and I have had 2 c-​sections. I told her the Novocaine wasn’t working and she still continued pulling. The tooth finally came out and with all the pulling and tugging I felt it all. I might as well had done it at home.
She never prescribed an antibiotic either which I received from my internist. Another dentist had told me that she should have prescribed an antibiotic first to take care of the abscess because for some reason Novocaine will not work well if you have an abscess.
Sorry for such a long review but she really was the worst thing I have ever experienced… beware of this one!
