The food here is always amazing, maybe too good. The last time I ate at Panda Express I could feel the legendary energy of the great General Yue Fei empower me. When I finished eating, my fork transformed into a samurai sword. I felt a weight develop over my shoulders and quickly realized I was now wearing ancient Chinese battle armor. I heard a horse squall in the distance and felt within me the call to battle. I will definitely return many more times for the great food… and more.

I come here when I am in Bayonne because my best friend is a vegetarian and and she enjoys the veggie options that they provide. As for me I am not amazed. The food is ok, nothing life changing or spectacular. I appreciate that the staff was very kind and that the facilities were very very clean. Over all it’s a nice stop to make if you are in the area and are craving.

This place has all the wrong combinations. Lo mein was dry, sesame chicken was way too sweet, as well as other chicken dishes, and the staff rushed us to order. I dont know if they use MSG or not, but after eating here I felt extremely dehydrated and constantly craved water. I would not go here again.

If you want stale old ghetto semi-chinese food, I highly recommend this establishment. You will be treated with spectacular disdain by the inadequately trained staff, warned that half of the entrees include an extra $ 1.25 hidden fee, be served food sitting under hot lamps for up 3 hrs with that wonderful dried out leathery consistency and 100% pure tastlessness, an alert non english speaking staff that can communicate only through pointing at entrees and deep guttural grunts, and so so so much more. Fyi…there is a five guys across the street. Your choice.

I’m Yin & Yang on this place sometimes the food seems bland and no flavor and others it seems great. I miss the Surf & Turf.

Mimi was the best thing about this place. Kind and generous with the food portions. Thanks for serving with a smile and nice personality. The other guy behind the counter was super flustered when we ordered the family meal. Glad Mimi saved the day and actually filled the portions up instead of leaving them stingy portions.

This place is decent with the standard Panda Express items. I had no complaints with the food or service. I like the fact you get your own fountain drinks. They have parking which was better than going to Newport Mall and paying 2 bucks for parking. I’m going here from now on for Panda.

Never disappointed with the food here. There isn’t a big selection in Bayonne where you can get a good healthy meal thats fast, fresh and hot. Actually there aren’t any in the area. Best place to go for the price and quality of the food. I’ve been to the other Asian restaurants in the area and there is no comparison. They are under manned and ether burn the food or don’t cook it right. Also you can’t pick and choose what you want on the spot. You have to look at the pictures and hope you they get it close.

Good food when it is fresh but half the time when I come here the food is dried out. This place gets 3 stars because they dont have vegetarian dishes. And everytime I come in I have to wait for steamed veggies. if there is a low amount of food left they wont opt to make any fresh batch for the customer ordering. Other than that I like their chow mein and orange chicken. But then again I can always get that anywhere else.

Every time I come here the food is amazing. Always piping hot and fresh. Never let down and the price is right. I would recommend to anyone craving delicious Asian cuisine.

Why is a fast food, Chain, Chinese restaurant getting four stars, you ask? The orange chicken is that good. That, and there is a general lack of quality Chinese food in Bayonne. For $ 8 bucks you get mass produced noodles and delicious orange chicken and shrimp. Get it in a to go container because there will be left overs.

Not your ordinary Chinese take out, orange chicken in consistenly good. They lost a star because they no longer have the surf & turf which was a combination of their really good steak and shrimp. It is very filling and the food does taste fresh, the staff is very friendly and everything is always clean and there is always plenty of parking in the lot.

I absolutely love the staff here. One time when I was on my lunch break, I drove here which took about 7 mins and I only have a 30 minute break(that should tell you how much I enjoy this place) After I ordered I realizes that I forgot my debit card in my other bag and didn’t have enough cash on me. The manager came out I gave them my name and they agreed to have me come back and pay my bill after my shift.(Which I did of course) Now c’mon people. who does that? On several occasions I came and the workers are so friendly and very accomodating. If there is something that I want and I ask for it freshly cooked, they don’t even give me an attitude or a hard time about it. They gladly say ok and get it ready within minutes. I’m all about customer service and the food is always great here. Just keep up the great work and you’ll always have me and my family as a customer at Panda Express in Bayonne.

Beware Rude employee! i was trying to claim my free entrée after i already order my 2 entrée meal plus i was ordering a one entrée meal and they were telling me i have to order 2 of the 2 entrée meal before i can get a discount, and i told them its not discount but a free entrée because i have my receipt from before after i took a survey too. And the waitress– ashley is very rude and her voice is loud, very unprofessional– its like im bothering her by trying to get my free entrée and she didnt even tell me she will ask the manager she just left me and i saw a manager coming but even the manager thought i want just a discount when im telling them its a free entrée and i did it before and everything was fine– they made me feel stupid and i will never recommend that branch ever again. its a bad place to go to because your gonna be treated rude by the employee.

It’s the closest to Panda Express in LA. It’s pretty decent. Relatively clean. Don’t expect PF Changs. It’s good for what it is. They are missing a few items on the menu compared to the one in LA but they have the basics. I would return again when I’m in the mood for this type of food.

I was disappointed with this place. I ordered one of there combo plates and the food was pretty cold and had no flavor to it. The panda express in Newport Mall is much better.
