History

Established in 2012.

Michael, the enthusiastic comic geek and owner, opened Manifest’s doors in November 2012. Manifest strives to be a place where everyone can enjoy comics and geek culture. As such it features space to do just that! Purchase a book and a beverage and enjoy both in the shop’s reading lounge! Gamers will love our SIX gaming tables. Manifest hosts tournaments and casual play and all gaming/​reading groups are welcome!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Michael spent most of his formative years in New Jersey before wandering off to various schools and jobs in parts of the country that are not New Jersey and never will be. Having spent countless hours at local comic shops wherever his travels carried him, Michael decided that he should just save the trouble of all that moving around and just go back to New Jersey and open his own shop! He is excited to serve the comics community of Bayonne and the surrounding area.

He doesn’t have a favorite comic book character since that would be like choosing his favorite child… if his children were named Awesome, Awesome and Awesome. Can’t do it. So he does what any self-​respecting comic fan should do: keep on reading!
