Hudson Roofing & Siding

I recently started having problems with my roof and contacted Hudson roofing for my issues. After I logged on Unilocal and saw their horrible reviews. I was nervous but I had already made an appointment and they were the only ones who were willing to come as quickly as I needed. So I contacted the better business bureau and they informed me they had a grade A rating. I decided to hold off on my review until after my roof was fixed and I have to say they were amazing! I dealt with Tony and TJ and they were nothing short of professional! I’m not sure why anyone would write those horrible reviews but my experience with Hudson roofing was outstanding.

Ive used Hudson roofing for my investment properties and my personal home too.
Never a problem. I’ve called Tony at 11:00 p. m with an emergency… he picks up the phone and is always responsive and fair… and yes. I pay him cash if I can… so what? Is paying cash illegal?
I just had my sophets, gutters and downpipes completed… on time, under cost estimate and beautifully done in the most inclimate weather.
No… I’m not related to anyone at Hudson Roofing… just a satisfied customer.

Stay away from these crooks. It is a father/​son team that will scam you to death if you let them. My 78 year old mother was experiencing a leak in her home in Bayonne. She «didn’t want to bother me» and took it upon herself to call a contractor. The father showed up and took a look at the roofing job from the street!!! and told her he could help. He did some flashing, a little roofing caulk and replaced maybe 10 shingles which didn’t come near matching the existing shingles and charged my mother $ 700 (cash). Upon hearing this, I went after them (the roof still leaked) and asked what they did to warrant a $ 700 bill. The old man was a bumbling stuttering fool and couldn’t explain himself. He then tried the arrogant approach and didn’t want to speak with me anymore, calling me unreasonable, opting to address my wife. She walked away and the old man dealt with me again. He then tried the old «I knew your father» routine. After slogging through his BS, i followed him to his bank where he refunded $ 300 of the $ 700 dollar bill. I wanted it all back, but my wife saw that I was close to my breaking point and made me walk away telling me to be happy with the $ 300. These guys are thieves, pure and simple and I wouldn’t hire them to pick up my dry cleaning.

I hired HUDSON Roofing To replace my roof HORRIBLE MISTAKE! These guys quoted me a price on a replacement roof what I got was a roof over an old roof everything they said they were going to do they didnt. I noticed the roof seperating from the building two days after they finished. The owner kept calling saying he was going to take care of it. THEN called and said you know what lets just call it even and didnt finish the work. Now something that I thought was taken care of is now an issue again! I dont usually write about companys but I felt the need to WARN everyone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
