Went there for a family get together last month. Its nice, spacious, food mediocre. Works well if you are a member of the club. Wouldn’t want to go back willingly again though.

Great pool but stupid limits, no outside food yet they serve greasy fried fast food, no outside drinks but they dont sell diet or healthy beverages, must pay for chairs when used to be free. life guards are young and sit on their phones all day!!! Lady in front makes too many mistakes. there is one employee that is as good as gold. head lifeguard Phil is kind and great with the kids. this review is about the pool not the club itself. you need a membership for the pool or can be a guest of a member. tje community club itself is seperate from pool membership.

Directly located under the north section of the Verrazano, this U.S. Army Garrison has some of the most spectacular views. The Club venue is large with dining rooms, bars, a dance floor and private rooms upstairs. It also boasts a garden with pool area, pool table and live and DJ’d music with special events occurring throughout the year. If you are ever privy to such events, ala Dances of Vice and such, you absolutely must take advantage of entering a military installation for a private event(rare) and enjoy the history and fabulous locale of the Community Club ~ open to all. Lunch, dinner and Sunday brunches available weekly.
