Feeling really disappointed after spending money on dinner for 4. I really wanted to like because it’s close to the house. No one finished anything which is unusual. I have 2 adult boys who are like human vacuums when it comes to food. The left overs are still in the fridge, the boys chose frozen pizza & instant mac & cheese for lunch instead of eating this food :/. I’ll stick to My usual spot!

So let me start off by saying that I barely ever write reviews, but this was highly needed. Im also never the picky type to really complain about it either. But THIS place was absolutely the most disgusting turkish food I ever ate, in fact the worst food I ever ate PERIOD! I had some guests in town and figured all turkish pretty much taste the same so I will try this new one. By far the worst 70 bux I ever spend. I may as well just though the money in the neighborhood trashcan and would’ve been happier. Plus the prices were pretty high compared to others in the area. The rice was just, I cant even come up with a word for how horrible, it didn’t even taste like rice anymore. Chicken was soggy, everything was ICECOLD, they messed up the order and I had to wait another 15 minutes. Besides all this I was hoping it would be good food to make up for the shitty service, but it just made it worse. I ordered 5 plates, and one was completely untouched, the other 4 plates looked completely full because no one ate. No lie, I would be shocked if this place lasts for another month since they just opened in this neighborhood where the competition for good food is fierce. Good luck Adana Mayla !

I have ordered delivery from here three times now. Every time they are right on. All the food is delicious that we have ordered. I order this with my co-workers and we have all had different things. The hummus is great! The Chicken Shawarma and the Izgara Kofte are as good as it gets! Ordering from here right now. Love this place!

This place makes me really sad. I love Turkish food and was very excited when I read the menu before they opened. The first time I went there, I ordered a Turkish breakfast for myself and chicken shawarma for my husband which were both terrific. The next time, I tried to order the same but they told me they were too busy cooking meat in back to make breakfast. I suppose I understand because I ordered a dish with eggs just a bit before noon on the weekend, but then please don’t offer this on the menu at all times because craving something and going all the way to the place to get it and then being told no is pretty inconvenient. Especially because there were no other customers in the store at the time and the phone wasn’t exactly ringing off the hook for orders, so it is not as if they should be so busy or too overwhelmed to try to service a hungry customer willing to pay $ 11.00 for breakfast. I hate to say this because I am sure they are nice people and I understand that they are just starting out, but the service is really terrible. When I’ve walked in, several times there have been no staff in the front to greet or assist me, and then when they finally do come out, they seem annoyed or disoriented, as if they don’t even want customers. When I’ve tried to order, no one seems to understands what you say or what exactly goes in each dish. I really feel like I am bothering the people who work there by wanting to order. Even if your food is good, if you treat your customers with such low regard, they will not come back. Also, there is so much food on the menu but it doesn’t seem like they can possibly make and stock all of the ingredients and still make money with their current business practice and when you go in many of the displays are empty. Because of this, it is also not clear what dishes from the menu they actually have from day to day. My suggestion – don’t offer so many choices, narrow down your options, make them well, and hire more staff. Otherwise don’t bother. Bay Ridge doesn’t need another crappy Middle Eastern take out when there are already so many good ones.

The Shawarma sandwiches are really good, and the fries are nice and crispy! Highly recommended this place

I just drove past this place and was looking for some middle eastern food. It was clear that is was very new and that they were not too organized. No one seemed to know what was going on and the gentleman who appeared to be the owner was very rude to the young girl working the cash register. At one point I saw him just push her to the side. Ok. They’re busy– it’s a new place– stress. It took a bit of time to get my wrap but I got it. I wished them luck and left. When I got to my car — only 1 minute passed– I was about to hit the road — and took a bite– the bread of the wrap was ice cold and the wrap was barely wrapped. It was a mess and with barely any chicken inside. The taste was mediocre at best and the food inside the cold wrap was barely warm. Not in a rush to head back. Many more choices in this hood.
