Excell Limousine

If I could rate them a no star that would be the best thing I could do! No one ever use this company! I would not reccommend my worst enemy to use them. This guy tried to charge more after we were already in the car and at our destination. Then he slammed on the brakes and got out of car to yell at another driver for driving too close. Once we arrived at another winery he then proceeded to tell us that he was not going to take us home unless we paid more money. On our way home one of the cheap wine glasses that was provided in the limo accidentally got knocked over and we let him know he insisted that we were destroying his limo which we were not. He then drove us to the police station where we had cops waiting for us over a broken wine glass. We got out told our story to the cops and we emptied the limo and he left us there to get a ride home all 10 of us. NO ONE SHOULD EVER USE THIS LIMO COMPANY!!!

I wish I could give zero stars. They deserve a lawsuit– not a star. Worst EVER! STOLE money by collecting a down payment and then still charging for it. We have called repeatedly and no return calls. Paypal can’t even get Michael to call back. Tried from other phone numbers and he HANGS UP! He should be arrested. Be warned.

THE WORST LIMO EXPERIENCE EVER. We hired him he showed up way too early and wanted to start charging this that time. His clothes and appearance was unkept and just looked iffy from the start. I should have know then not hand him $ 500 cash before the nigh was done. His GPS broke and he was lost in SFO and we were late to our event. And to make the story even better, he did not pick us up and left us stranded in SFO at 11:00pm and we had to take Bart home and he took off with our purses and jackets in the Limo. This guy is a theif driving a limo. DO not Hire Michael he is a total scammer and JERK!

I rented a limo from this slime ball back in August. I thought it was strange that when we pulled up to Silver oak in Napa that he went tearing out of the driveway. When we came out of silver oak, he was nowhere to be found. So I called him and he was «20 minutes away» When he finally arrived to pick us up, he pulled up, loaded us up, and again went tearing out of the parking lot. Which seemed odd to me that he was in such a rush to get off the property. He then took us to Del Dotto. We told our tour guide that our driver was acting shady and the tour guide said «Is he a short, fat, hispanic guy with a really tacky diamond earring» to which I said yeah… how did you know. Our tour guide said «call the police. This guy brings people out to napa, and after they have had a few glasses of wine, he calls the police and says that they assaulted him, did damage to his car, or makes up some other story because he has booked another group for the same time. He keeps pulling this scam over and over again to the point that the people at the vineyards (or at least at Silver Oak, Opus One, Del Dotto, and V Sattui) know this scumbag. After the police left, the guy immediately left us,(stranding us in Napa) and the vineyard had to arrange another limo service to come and get us. I called the public utilities commission that oversees limousines in SF and they basically said that there is nothing that they can do for me but «I was free to pursue this in civil court). I live in Las Vegas… I don’t have time, and it is not worth my money to fly down to San Francisco to file a suit against this guy. I did dispute the charges with my credit card company and they did take off all of the charges. But it really did ruin our day in Napa because we only got to see 2 vineyards because we spent 3 hours dealing with this clown. Come to find out… the reason he is acting so strange is because he has been banned from being on the property at most of the vineyards. So I am really writing this to warn others of this shady character. You do not want to get stuck dealing with this guy!
He tried to charge us 794 dollars after driving us only 2 to 3 hours. Furthermore, he says the the limo is brand new… sure…about 14 years ago his car was brand new. When we tried to turn the radio on, it blared full blast and we could not turn it down, the interior SMELLED AWFUL of smoke, booze, and mold. And it was clear that the car was well over 10 years old. There are several reputable limousine services in SF and Napa, this simply is not one of them.

Obviously the 5 star rating is the owner, trying to make himself look good. First off, I would not call this a company but a guy who bought himself a limo and is looking to rip the public off.
After we paid for 6 hours in the limo, we had to pay $ 15.00 per stop. I thought you paid per hour, not per stop. The limo was NOT stocked with all of the items offered on the website. There were 5 sodas for 10 people. No starbucks, no orange juice or tonic to go along with the Gin. When we asked about the missing items, the driver told us those items are only upon request. Yet, the website says nothing about this! The sound system that he adverstises is anything but. There was no reception and all we could get was static. Mind you, there was no deduction on price for this. The driver absolutly drove like a maniac to get us to our destination. Then in the fast lane on the freeway, he stopped his limo to clear debris out of his lane and actually picked something up and put it in his car! He risked out lives (and our children) to pick up some garbage for himself!!! He was also not in the area where he was suppose to pick us up. We called him and he told us to walk around and find him. He never tried to find us. 20 minutes later, all with aching feet we finally found him. On the way home, he drove 50 mph on the freeway and took all of the long ways making sure to bring us home 1 hour late and then charged us $ 90.00 for the hour. (including the 20 minutes it took us to find him) So after paying over $ 500.00, we also paid $ 60.00 for two pickups and drop offs. and $ 90.00 in late fees. All to sit in an unstocked limo with no radio. People please do your research before booking. This guy should be put out of business!!!

I don’t know why my friend’s review was deleted so I will re-​post because we will never forget our experience with this guy (who is a 1 man show by the way). I hope this post saves other people from making the same mistake us and the other 2 people have expressed.
Mike, the driver/​owner, gives me this awesome deal I could not pass up for New Years this past year. When he picks us up he wants the money up front and charged us extra to pick up a friend from another location that was on the way to our destination. The drive was terrible! He was speeding in and out of lanes, we spilled drinks (which were very cheap by the way) all over ourselves until we decided that it would be better to hold on in our seats instead. We did not have more then 10 minutes at a time to ourselves because he kept opening the window to ask us how to get to our destination.
When time came to pick us up he was no where to be found. I called him REPEATEDLY non-​stop and no answer. We ended up taking a taxi back that night that costs us over $ 100 after tip. I called him again the next morning and he finally picks up after a few tries. He said his phone ran out over batteries… We all know what drivers do with in between time which is try to make some extra cash with jobs in between their pick up times. Also we left 2 jackets and a very nice scarf in the limo, but we were only able to recover the 2 jackets.
I really hope this post helps you from making a terrible mistake.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. Mr. Mehrdad (Mike) Meimand he driver is rude, unsafe, and reckless. He will SCAM you. I can’t even believe what he has put me through…
He told me he was gonna charge me $ 500 for someone vomitting in his limo… there was no vomit. (I am a nurse… trust me I KNOW vomit when I see it!!) there wasn’t even a spill… AND if there was any sort of damage that my party did cause… we would be willing to pay for it.
When he offered to show me the stains and told me i could drive out to Concord to see it. I agreed.
First he told me I would have to drive to a gas station, I told him that I would be more comfortable meeting him at the office in Concord. He said fine. I went to the address posted online, the address he gave me… and it DOES NOT EXIST… His business address DOES NOT EXIST…(It is a residential court and there was no 34 Kelsey ct)
when I called him he at the non existing address he said no I told you to meet me at the Chevon @ whatever address he made up… when I got there… he called me again, and said actually here is the place we should meet… so after about 2 hours of driving around concord (which I think he hopes most people give up by now) …I found him and saw these «stains» …it was 5 little drops of soda on the window nothing on the carpet, no spills stain… nothing a $ 3 bottle of windex can’t fix… so after 20 minutes of arguing, I asked him why his office address is a FAKE… he told me he did not have to disclose that information… I also asked to talk to his supervisor or manager and he said there was no one I could talk to… he was the manager… but not the owner of the company he said there was no one else I could talk to… and I also asked him why he was trying to scam me and he just got angry and left… He gave me NO response to that answer… no denial to those allegations…
so there are other compliants about him scamming others… so PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE… its a total SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM…

It’s really too bad that Unilocal doesn’t allow you to give businesses 0 stars, because that would be a more appropriate rating for this company /​guy. Mike started out nice, with some pretty stern rules. But by the end of the day, he was constantly threatening to charge us for infractions that were anything but. Put your feet near the bar? VIOLATION! Then he unnecessarily risked everyone’s life by suddenly slamming on the brakes and pulling just off to the side of a busy road to yell at us for messing with the wrong controls. Wouldn’t it have been safer to roll down the divider window and kindly tell us to avoid that particular knob on the console? (We never did find out what effect the control had.) The worst part was that he took us deeper into Napa than we intended to go, needlessly extending the amount of time for which we had to pay. When we arrived back to SF, an hour later than we realized, he insisted that he would charge us for overtime. I guess we could have been more diligent in policing him and where he was taking us. That said, you would have thought that someone who was so rudely and annoyingly controlling would have done that for us.

We had a great experience for my Bday. Mike was reallly polite, professional, and well-​organized. He did everything we asked him to, took us everywhere we wanted. He was very clear in the charges and expectations from the beginning. We made sure to keep his limo clean and gave him the same respect he gave us.
My friends and I had a great time, a night to remember. I will definitely use this limo service again.

The limo driver arrived and escorted us into the limo, so far so good, but then… a few things happened, I will list the events that occured
First the driver kept asking us for directions. We would try to start having fun but the window kept opening to ask where to go next. Then he argued to us that he couldn’t pick up one of our friends.
If you are making multiple stops, do not go with this company. They charged us $ 20 to pick up our friend 3 minutes off the freeway. The worst part is that the driver agreed in advance to pick up the person and tried to rip us off in the process.
Then the driver drove like a maniac to get us to our destination as fast as possible. Why would a limo driver do this? Is it to get us to spill so they can charge us for damages? Is it to get there fast so the driver can do other things with his time? Isn’t the purpose of a limo to enjoy the car ride to your destination? We were holding on for dear life and were overly cautious about spilling our drinks because of his driving, the whole trip was ruined.
Then, when we got to the destination, the driver didn’t even drop us off in front of the hotel. He was at an intersection with cars flying by us. I don’t really know where his logic was, it could be that he didn’t truly know where the hotel was, but the least he can do is pull to the side of the road.
He was at least gracious enough hold on to some of our coats because we didn’t want to bring them into coat check. But… then he didn’t pick us up. We waited in the cold, without our coats, and ended up paying a $ 100 to get a taxi so we could go home. We had spent more money, were stranded in the cold, and our night had been ruined. Choose your limo service carefully.

i rewrite this after all the anger i’ve felt over the past 6 months has somewhat subsided.
yes, i feel like i’ve been cheated and taken advantage of because excell limousine took $ 600 from me for damages that i was never shown pictures for, but that’s in the past. perhaps if my group hadn’t tried to be sneaky and add extra people, mike would have treated us differently, it’s difficult to say. what’s happened has happened. we were a big group going out for a 21^st birthday and instead of being a happy fun memory, it’s tainted by this.
MAYBE the 5 star reviews are genuine. regardless, if you do choose to hire excell limousine, be cautious. don’t sign any blank charge slips and don’t try to give any sort of attitude or show any signs of rowdiness since it might lead to your being taken advantage of like us. bring a camera and take photos of the vehicle before and after the event. also, check out the CA PUC for other limousine services and check if they have proper licensing. Know your RIGHTS!
these 1 star reviews probably aren’t personal vendettas since they’ve all resulted from experiences with Excell. with that said, i like to think that i’m helping the less fortunate and also boosting the economy through my 600 dollars… yeah…

We used Excell Limo for our Napa trip and it was perfect. The car was brand new and in great condition. It was fully stocked with booze, soft drinks and mixers. Our driver, Mike, knew the Napa area inside and out and was very friendly and helpful, not to mention very professional. He recommeded a bunch of wineries that were well worth the visit. We got everything we hoped for out of the limo experience. Plus the rates were well below the other companies. The low price quote had me nervous that maybe it wouldn’t be that great of a car, but Mike came through. Highly Recommended!!!
