Monorail Station At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

You can catch the monorail on the 2^nd floor of The Grand Floridian. First stop is The Magic Kingdom, then The Contemporary Resort, The Transportation and Ticket Center, and The Polynesian Resort before it makes it’s way back to The Grand Floridian again. This is called the Monorail Loop.
If you are heading to The Magic Kingdom, get hop off at the first stop. If you are heading to Epcot, you’ll need to get off at the Transportation and Ticket Center and take another monorail directly to Epcot.
I just love the monorail system. It’s so fast and efficient!
If you are heading to Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or Downtown Disney, you’ll need to take a bus. Head out the front of the lobby and turn to the right and you’ll soon see the bus stop area.
Here’s a tip for the monorail: If you go to Epcot first and then want to go to the Magic Kingdom, you’ll have to take the monorail from Epcot back to The Transportation and Ticket Center. During the peak season, the direct monorail to The Magic Kingdom gets extremely backed up and you may find yourself waiting for several monorails to pass before there’s one you can board… and then you’ll find yourself packed in like sardines in a can. Instead of waiting for that direct monorail, go get on the resort monorail. Yes, you’ll have to make the loop and stop at The Polynesian and again at The Grand Floridian before getting to The Magic Kingdom stop, but I can guarantee you it will be faster and you’ll more than likely have a car all to yourself because most people don’t know this little trick. Shhhhhhh… don’t spread my secret around. :D

Easy access to the Magic Kingdom, and its a route to take to Epcot.

At Grand Floridian, you can take the bus, boat, or monorail to the Magic Kingdom. I think the monorail is the best option, but often the most crowded as it is the last stop before the park.
