Bay Harbour Med Spa is an authentic European skin care clinic. We offer an experience in an elegant European atmosphere. We are committed to provide you with the highest quality personalized skincare by experienced European estheticians. From our European skin care, such as acne facials, to European facials tailored to each client’s need, to Microdermabrasion, to Anti-​Aging treatments, to our laser hair removal treatments, or our VelaShape cellulite treatments, you are guaranteed one-​on-​one attention and customized treatments specific to teens, men and women. Our natural and organic products are derived from fruit and vegetable extracts as well as essential oils. We customize treatments specific to the male skin, as there are special considerations to take into account. We specialize in ethnic skin care as well.

History

Established in 1986.

We’ve offered authentic European skin care treatments in Miami Beach (Bay Harbor) since 1986. In 1996 we began offering laser hair removal treatments which are safe for all skin colors, including black to dark skin. We utilize the CoolGlide technology which is the only FDA approved permanent hair reduction treatments which can be used on ethnic skin. In 1997 we formulated the Skin Renewal Method product line which consists of organic fruit and vegetable derivative products, with no harsh chemicals. In 2004 we ventured to offer the VelaShape treatments which helps to reduce cellulite (together with a powerful treatment we came up with which helps to speed up the treatment, resulting in client’s not having to get as many treatments). In 2010 we launched the Acne Solution product line and began selling it to the public after so many of our med spa clients started experiencing very favorable results.

Business Owner

Ava is European-​borne and was trained in the finest skin institutes in Europe. In the 1970s, Ava owned and operated a skin care clinic in the Middle East, thus Ava brings with her a tremendous amount of knowledge when it comes to ethnic skin (specifically, black skin). Ava is licensed by the Florida Department of Health, Board of Medicine, and Electrolysis Council. Ava’s specialty includes laser hair removal as well as European skin care, including acne treatments and effective anti-​aging treatments. Ava advocates prevention as a solution to aging.
