This place seems to be well known by the locals given its location. The waitresses are on top of it and there seems to be a consistent flow of people coming and going. The atmosphere is retro but the décor on the walls don’t seem to be dusted regularly. The food really fell short even with the reasonable prices. Considering what other competition they have within a 5 block radius, I very much doubt that I will return again.

Very cool 50’s atmosphere. Nice local diner with pretty good gyros. Coffee was really good and the service is fast. Overall a pleasant experience.

We ordered a catered breakfast for 7am delivery. After calling them repeatedly, they finally said they located a driver. They delivered almost 2 hours late.
The fruit was not fresh cut, it had obviously been sitting for a day or more. The frosting on the doughnuts was smeared off.
Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Excellent food and even better service. Haven’t been in Bay City in years and haven’t eaten at the Stock Pot in about 15 and Vince still remembered me from when I was a kid. Recommend this place for anyone needing a hearty breakfast, lunch or dinner and for a fair price!

I’ve passed by the Stock Pot for years and just recently, finally, went inside to check it out. I love the retro diner décor — purple booths, giant Betty Boops, old-​timey silver light fixtures. Not what I was expecting, but a fun, casual atmosphere.
My gal pals and I ordered some lunch during a weekday and they had a steady flow of people in and out of the restaurant while we were there. I started with a cup of the very tasty spinach /​feta chowder, and we each ordered sandwiches: a turkey reuben, BLT, and a monte cristo for me. None of the sandwiches come with sides of chips or fries (really.?) so we split an order of french fries and onion rings.
The sandwiches were decent, and the baskets of fried sides were so-​so. The soup was by far my favorite. I’d like to go back and try something else, probably from the breakfast menu.

I recently had the chance to visit this cute and quirky diner, i got the homemade chicken soup and my 3 yr old daughter loved it it was pretty good. Piping hot fresh french fries and the junk yard dog which i loved! Thier menu and décor were both very interesting. The waitress was super friendly and we got great service.

I would never eat here again. They give you good portions but to me it was a greasy spoon. But I tell you there are a lot of men that dine there. The mornings you can hardly find a table. It is a Greek restaurant that has too many other things on the menu. A mis match of items. Short staffed only 1 person usually. Sometimes 2.

after waiting 25 minutes for the waitress to take my order, she was very rude. she was short with me. two tables sat down after us, we were the last for our order to be taken. they do not pay attention to the whole picture… I think it’s time Vinny finds new servers… food was horrible. took another half hour to get it on the table. it was cold like it has been sitting there for awhile. a elderly woman at my job told me about this place. she must of had dementia, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. 2 out of 10

Friday Walleye basket was good and fresh. Greek salad had great spice mix sprinkled on top. Lettuce was not chilled, so salad was not refreshing, just blah. Kitch décor, average hurried but not unfriendly service, reasonable hygiene (not sufficient to suggest nice restroom and I didn’t try it). Very fair prices.
