My girlfriend and I had a spectacular meal. The service was excellent and the waitress was very helpful and prompt. The atmosphere is just what my date and I were looking for. The tomato bisque was a must. My date is an excellent cook and she was in love with it. It will be on our places to go every time we are in Bay City.

The place to go in bay city for dinner and drinks. Great wine selection and cocktail menu. Always busy on the weekends but service is always quick and accommodating for large groups.

Great food and server Ricki. Looked like a happening spot for a Tuesday night. Packed with people. Bar area and dining area. Large drink menu. I ordered the scallops and shrimp pasta. Very good. Came with a house salad and the Italian dressing was wonderful. Loud in here. Not a place for kids or a quiet night.

I would have loved to give this restaurant a proper review, but the wait staff decided to ignore us. Happy anniversary to us! We were seated right away by the hostess. She also served us our water. That was the last time anyone approached us for the 20 minutes we were there. Soon after we were seated, a party from the bar area was moved near us in the dining area. They already had their drinks and the waitress took their food order. Meanwhile another party was on our other side, being waited on. We were the only other table in the dining area. Our menus were down and we were ready to order both food and drink. No one even acknowledged we were there. When the waitress went to hide in the place where she puts in orders to check Facebook, that was the last straw. We arrived just after 7:30p and left around 8p. No one even seemed to care we left. Too bad. Like I said before, we were there for our 7th year anniversary dinner. They lost out on a nice tab. Megan at Stables was much more hospitable.

Local hang out for the Bay City mover and shakers. Great bar maid but drinks are a little low on alcohol. Great prime rib dip sandwich and shrimp cocktail. The menus were a turnoff because they were Dirty and worn, how much does it Cost to print new menus?

Most likely the best restaurant in Bay City. They have a fantastic selection of beers, liquor, and wine. I have yet to have something on the menu that isn’t awesome. The steak medallions and chicken nachos are the best. I would say though that it is a bit pricier than what Unilocal rates it at.

Had a wonderful experience at Old City Hall tonight for dinner. The ambiance is cozy, wine bar/restaurant cool. We walked in and the bar area was packed. Apparently for ½ price wine night(bar only!) No seats were available so we sat in the restaurant but the prices of the glasses of wine were already less than ½ of what they’d cost back home in Chicago it was still a great bargain! I had the salmon which was encrusted in pepper and other delicious spices served over a luxurious mango/butter sauce. It was a huge portion but moist and tasty. My colleague tried the cobb salad which he said was one of the best he’s ever had. Our server Athena was friendly, attentive and added to our experience. If you find yourself in Bay City this is the place to try!

Somewhat limited menu but there is something for everyone, wife and I both had the ahi sesame tuna and it was excellent, seared to perfection! Service was great, very tentative and my water glass was never empty. All in all it was good night out in downtown Bay City.

Old City Hall has both its charms and a few areas in serious need of improvement. The atmosphere is casual, but with a little higher-end feel. The prices are a bit high, but not outlandish for what is being offered. The menu isn’t very large and it changes often, but is disappointing due to the lack of vegan and vegetarian options. My sesame tuna was good, but the white rice and accompanying sauce were all the wrong flavors entirely. The sushi is mediocre at best. The calamari is adequate, not too chewy and not incredibly greasy. The service is always very good, which is always a plus! I generally like to visit more for the bar setting of OCH. The bartenders are skilled, and the selection of beer, wine, and spirits is extensive. I’ve had excellent cocktails there which is why I generally like to come back each time.

The owner from Timothy’s Fine Cigars recommend this restaurant and he was correct, it was fabulous! The service was excellent, the décor was fun and tasteful, and the food was delious and filling. We would definitely eat here again if we are ever in the Bay City area.

Sat in the bar area on a Saturday night for dinner. We ordered the lettuce wraps as an appetizer. They were fresh and delicious. I ordered the artichoke chicken for dinner, it was awesome. He had the red curried chicken and it was very flavorful. Service was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I was in town on business for a work trip. Some co-workers decided we should try this restaurant for dinner. It is very well decorated I love the old wood and the restaurant displaying historical items/photos of the local town. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful with making our decisions. Our drinks were good and came out very prompt. Food was not to far behind I tried the chicken swharma It wasn’t bad the homemade hummus was very tasty. My co-workers opted for some other entrees and theirs looked delicious(artichoke chicken). Price is a bit high but for the town we were in I could see why. Excellent service, decent drinks, good food. I will try again if I am in the area.

They have a great wine selection, really good food options for dinner as well. They are definitely very pricey, but it’s a really nice place. We have good service whenever we go there. I also just recently found out about their«sushi weekends» with all you can eat sushi for $ 14.99. I am not sure how long this will last but I plan to check it out!

The food was ok. I had a prime rib sandwich, side casear salad, and a cup of chicken and rice soup. The prime rib sandwich was dry. Apparently they are aware of it, because they serve it with a normally unnecessary bowl of au jus(big thanks to whoever added that to the meal). Made it ok. The casear was good. Good dressing and not overloaded with it. The soup was also good, albeit bland. I was teetering on a third star, but was disappointed by them being out of the Dark Horse Special Black Bier. I understand running out of things, but don’t make me order it off the beer menu you just handed me in order to find out that there isn’t any.

I got the buffalo chicken wrap and shared two apps with the table. We got the hummus and the duck pot stickers. This place has a unique feel to it. The exposed brick reminds me of home. i really enjoyed it. The service was great. There isn’t a single thing I can complain about. He worked his butt off and got everything correct without a single mistake. That was all without using a note pad. Bravo. The hummus was ok. I am not a huge hummus guy so I won’t comment further. The duck pot stickers were fantastic! This is a must get. Tons of flavor, but no where near overbearing. The buffalo chicken wrap was surprisingly delicious. I was upset with my choice because I thought I was playing it safe. I was wrong. They are breaded tenders, but not terribly. The tortilla wrap was perfect and the ranch was great. I was quite pleased. I can’t say anything bad at all about this place. I am not sure what it keeping me from writing a five star review here, but I feel like four is just right. Keep up the good works everyone. I definitely wouldn’t mind returning.

Was at OCH on New Year’s Eve, I tried to let this go, but it bothers me too much since I have cooked at high end restaurants in Chicago. I ordered your special, pan seared duck breast, half lamb rack. Lamb was great, but you guys totally butchered my duck. Every bite was insanely chewy due to the cooks not scouring the skin. If you don’t scour it, the fat has nowhere to go while cooking, so that fatty skin on top remains chewy and makes for a very subpar experience. The vegetables that came with both mine and my girlfriends dinner were way under cooked as well. If you guys are trying to up hold this upscale feel and food, don’t just look up what all these other big name restaurants are doing and try to do it unless you fully understand the correct cooking process. Oh and you guys have zero ciders on your drink menu, what kind of joke is that? End rant.

The staff was very accommodating. The Bloody Mary sucked. For a restaurant that had such a variety of food options, you would think their Bloody Mary would be something to brag about, instead I just wanted to send it back. It lacked interesting garnishes and needed celery salt on the rim. The shawarma was good. Not very authentic, but I enjoyed it. I’m not sure if I’ll return.
