History

Established in 1996.

Expressions in Motion Dance & Gymnastics Studio is a fresh idea in performing arts, fitness and personal growth.

The concept of Expressions in Motion has been developing for more than 15 years (circa 1990), but was not ‘put in motion’ until 2007.

This venture was initiated to re-​establish the joy and passion I lost when my mother went to ‘dance with the angels’ and I made the incredibly difficult decision to leave her studios.

I’ve been a dancer for more than 40 years, and an Instructor for over 30 years. My mother was my first Dance Instructor, and mentor. Following in her ‘footsteps’, I opened my own studio to be able to share the legacy of Miss Carol/​Mom and the tremendous blessings God has given me!
