The Little Bookkeeper

I came to the little bookkeeper looking to get some personal work done related to calculating the remaining balance on a divorce judgment.
Everything started off great. I needed it ASAP because it was needed as part of the decision making process on whether to sign an agreement to let the divorce judgment drop. If I didn’t get it relatively quickly, my ex-wife’s lawyer was going to take me to court and try charging me the cost of her attorney fees. I didn’t want this, so I told her about how important timeliness was, and she told me she understood and could get it done in two days.
Well, there was a hold up on my end that delayed getting the information to her by about a week, and I had assumed that she would still get it to me quickly like we had discussed, but she writes me back saying she would get it to me in one weeks time. This was disappointing, because getting data from the bank already held me up and my ex wife’s lawyer was breathing down my neck, but I decided I could gamble and go with it.
I shot her an e-​mail after six days to ask how it was coming. No response. I shot her another e-​mail three days later, and this time she responded by telling me she would get to it, only she set a deadline which tacked on an additional four or five days later than she had originally said. Now I’m really starting to stress. That deadline came and went, so I e-​mailed her again. She now said she would get it to me in another five days. That deadline came and went.
After that third deadline was missed, I hired someone else and just didn’t tell her. I haven’t even heard from her in weeks. Originally we had agreed on two days, and now a month has past and still NOTHING, no results.
Come to the little bookkeeper if you want someone who doesn’t care and is willing to screw your life over. Better yet, just keep away.
