Classy Lass

Very impressed by this place and by Rachel Mentell who did my bang trim. She was super enthusiastic, helpful, and i swear she just read my mind about how I wanted my bangs styled. I always feel more comfortable when I like the person who is doing my hair so that was definitely a plus!

I initially started coming to Classy Lass after a hair trim turned into a botched hair cut. I have very long hair, and Megan fixed the mess that the other lady left behind. Megan was the best stylist I have ever had. However, she’s no longer there. I recommended this place to my mother (when I was still going to Megan), and she had Jaime. She only trims off a little bit of hair so you must come back in 4 weeks to have it trimmed again if you wear your hair short. I tried Jaime as well, and my hair did not look nice afterward. So, I figured, ok I will try another lady there because Megan was so great. The next stylist I had was Gina, and she did this horrible zig-​zaggy layering of my hair. I had hair that was over a foot long and other pieces were ‘trimmed’ down to 6 inches. What a disaster. I also had gotten a manicure done by Chris, and my nail polish chipped after one day. I asked her, ‘aren’t you going to put a base coat?’ She said, ‘sometimes it’s not necessary.’ I will never go back to this salon, and I would highly recommend having your beauty needs served elsewhere.

I go to school out of state and I will postpone getting my hair cut until I can fly home and home here. I have LOVED every hair cut I’ve ever gotten here (I’ve had Candy the last two times and she was great — nice and gave me exactly what I wanted.) I asked for a cute but low maintenance cut, and she nailed it — I can get out of bed, skip a shower and walk straight out the door without even brushing it!
And they’re very reasonably priced (my cut, style and blowdry was $ 25). In San Francisco an inch off the bottom starts at $ 90, so you can see why I wait to come here instead.
They were always nice, and listened to everything I asked for with my hair. They didn’t try to push any expensive products on me if I didn’t show any interest. They place was just remodeled — it’s spacious and looks great.
