This restaurant is a pretty typical small town, American food joint. Chicken fried steak, steaks, taters, etc. I will say the steaks are great, but the fried chicken is to die for. Best I have had anywhere. The helpings are that of typical rural Nebraska– enough to feed a hungry man with a hearty appetite. Also u love their herb bread rolls– heaven in my mouth.
What really sucks about Goodys is the ambiance. I’m always cold in there and the place is just… old looking. Great food, great service, less than average atmosphere. Hence 3 – 4 stars.
We live in Battle Creek and eat here on those” I’m too tired to cook” nights.
