Unity is a Christian church that focuses on the inclusive and loving messages of Jesus Christ, including his teachings of having love for the divine Christ within us all, still awaiting to be discovered by many of us Christians. This church has a nice little Baton Rouge slant on the Unity message. It’s a little more conservative than many Unity churches, but they do have Yoga classes, healing practitioners (including massage therapists… NICE!), and regular workshops. The soloist singers are awesome! If you’re tired of the same old fire and brimstone message that Jesus’ teachings doesn’t really support, this is a very inviting and loving place to worship.
