Take 5 Oil Change

Very friendly and professional service overall. Not cheap but you pay for the convenience, so make sure you bring a $ 10 off coupon! My oil change took 25 min but they comped me another $ 5 so I appreciated that.

I went to Take 5 Oil Change today around noon, and even though every garage port was full it, didn’t take long for me to be the next one in.
Service here is exceptional. Beyond what any other company will ever do. They made sure I was informed on everything, and provided me with great hospitality. They even gave me complimentary air fresheners, and drinks and snacks while I waited.
Pricing is even fair and they check everything for you. You also get complimentary top offs if you need it later on. What’s else is there to love?
I am more than pleased to take a little drive from LSU campus to always be treated well and for an exceptional job! My car is my lifeline, and these guys know that.
I wouldn’t trust any other group.

I have been to Take 5 about 6 – 7 times and only had one experience where they didn’t meet expectations.
I went to another Oil place out of convenience and the next time when I went to Take 5 they told me my Oil plug was stripped and I would need to have my pan replaced. Of course I wasn’t too happy and took it back to the other place but when they pulled it out, they showed me the plug and there was no problem, they said it was put on a little too tight and apologized.
I can’t really fault either company much in this situation but all my other experiences at Take 5 have been good.

I’ve been to several locations, but this is the one I go to the most. My experiences have always been pleasant. The staff is excessively friendly, they tell you all your options, don’t pressure you into anything particular. They’ve informed me of other services I might need based on their assessments, but don’t make me feel forced into getting them. And maybe it’s reverse psychology, but when they offer me additional products, they also mention that I might be able to get the product cheaper elsewhere, in which case I can buy it elsewhere and then bring it by to them and they’ll take care of the labor (like windshield wipers, oil sludge cleaners, air conditioning filters). Their oil change includes checking all fluids, checking air in tires, washing the windshield, etc. They also offer you something to drink while you wait. And the website always has a coupon you can print out.
It’s worth it to me to just have someone be nice. That’s so rare these days in customer service.
