History

Established in 2009.

Owner, Cheryl Frager and certified senior move manager, has over 27 years experience in the healthcare industry specializing in seniors and residential packing and moving. She has helped hundreds of families move, downsize and disperse their estates. Cheryl and her staff desires, through the company, to make a significant and positive difference for people at a time when they truly need help whether they are moving across town or across the country. Lila Tippit, Co-​owner and certified hoarding specialist, has over 20 years of counseling experience. Her deep compassion for seniors and her knowledge of senior and residential transitions makes her a caring contributor.

Business Owner

Cheryl Frager opened Smooth Transitions of Southern Louisiana, LLC in 2009 in order to bring the much-​needed services of a transition and moving company to Louisiana. She has earned her Bachelor’s degree in marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She has trained extensively with Barbara Morris, founder and president of Smooth Transitions and is a proud member of the National Association of Senior Move Manager (NASMM), founder of the Louisiana Care Planning Council of Greater Baton Rouge, a proud member of of the Better Business Bureau and the 2014 recipient of the «Circle of Service» Award through the National Association of Senior Move Managers.

Cheryl has over 25 years experience in the healthcare industry specializing in seniors. These include: home health care, physical rehabilitation, retirement and assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities.
