I went there late in the evening, so it is understandable the food was not as fresh as food served for lunch. There was still a selection, but mainly meat. Not much vegetables were left. I would like to go back another time for lunch to see what better selections they have. The lady behind the counter seemed nice and that says a lot because I myself am not very sociable in the evenings, so big props to her. The food was ok for a late evening selection, but I will return to see how their lunch is

Ok so my friend and I decided we wanted to eat at a chinese buffet place and this is the place we chose; this is our first time trying any place in baton rouge. Well when we got to this restaurant, we were kinda skeptical to try it since it looked old and outdated but since we were hungry, we went ahead and tried it. Prices were very reasonable. Now to the worst part, the FOOD. Everything tasted dull and very salty. Selections were the typical things you see at any Chinese place. They had cheese sticks which looked very disgusting and not fully cooked. Their crawfish was bland, salty and not fresh. Their desserts were even terrible and looked store bought. The interior décor wasn’t that nice. Pretty beat up and neglected. Staff was ok/friendly. But tbh, we will never return to this restaurant again ever. If we could get our money back, we would.

A true hole in the wall place which in my book is the best kind of place to go to. Many choices lots of favorites, and some new things to try if you dare. Staff is friendly and prices are very good we had 2 buffets and water and it was under 20 $

Formerly a staple of our Chinese repertoire in Baton Rouge, our last visit will be our last. It’s a buffet style restaurant with a reasonable selection of food, but the problem is they leave things on the buffet too long. If something isn’t moving then they need to change their offerings or at least freshen up the offering. They aren’t price competitive with other better restaurants — you’ll wind up paying the same for a bigger and fresher selection elsewhere. Basically, when a buffet restaurant is starting to die you see the food in the warmer trays not moving fast enough to keep it from drying out. If you do choose to eat here then go to the very back of the buffet section and you will find some noodles, proteins, and veg that they will fry up for you«Hunan-style.» Even that isn’t as good as it used to be, but at least it’s warm.
