This a great place to go for sports gear & equipment with a helpful, attentive, caring staff. Although they gain most of their profits from manufacturing and supplying local team jerseys/​clothing, its still worth comparing prices and selections with this local establishment that has been here since ’81. On this day I was on a mission to find the most economical, top rated football cleats mostly b/​c the day before my Brooks runing shoes were completely soaked trying to play flag football at Burbank (water?) park, not to mention the many times I slipped on my rear or my inability to stop when needed to tackle. The staff (mostly former high schoolers that seemed to be jocks at some point) were very helpful & even bared with me as I compared two different $ 20 cleats. As I broke em in & did some product reviews and back to high stepping & speed drills with some fancy footwork; an hour later they were still hanging in there attentive to me. Red stick sports has a decent selection, although I was not able to find anything but Nike cleats on the wall display. I came out with a $ 89 Adidas pair of cleats that were 75% off. I got mine. the crazyquicks for $ 22, not a bad deal my book.
After comparing cleats at Academy & Dick’s sporting goods these were the best deals bar none within a 10 mile radius. I walked out with a free shirt and water bottle so a nice +.

I took some shirts for embroidery. I was very pleased, the staff was nice and it didnt take any time to get my shirts back. I will def bring more things.

I love coming to Red Stick Sports. Always support the locals! They have a pretty good selection of any type of sporting equipment. I’m impressed with the kid selection. The employees are super knowledgeable, unlike Academy. The employee that helped suit up my 8 y/​o, George, was very informative. He explained why something should fit the way it should etx. The prices compared to Dick’s were pretty comparable. We got a free water bottle with our purchase, woohoo! Haha. The only thing I can say is that since they’re a smaller sporting goods store, the selection of sizes and options is not as big as other super stores. They’re having a big tent sale in November. Get ready!
