Look forward to my massage in the next few weeks. I received it as a gift but have been before. The reason I am writing is to suggest never compromise on luxury. Massage envy is the Walmart to Paris Parkers’ Saks. I just had a horrible experience… But it got me thinking of Parker Paris… Ahhh, the ambiance, fragrance and staff. Not one mistake in 3 years I have been there. So take it from me, your money is well spent in a spa who understands how to take care of their clients.

Customer service booked my appointment for only 30 minutes when I asked for an hour. In addition, they booked it at 4PM instead of 3:30PM so I was forced to pay $ 20 extra because it was past the flexible spa pricing. I told the front desk(Ashley) and she could care less about the customer. I will not be going back here and will not refer anyone to this business.

Relaxing and professional this is the premier go to salon in Baton Rouge. The space is open and inviting and I always feel relaxed and pampered when I’m here. They have a great selection of Aveda products. My colorist Dawnell always takes time to understand exactly what I want and explains the best options for my hair. I’ve been to other Paris Parker locations and while I liked the end result I found the locations crowded and uncomfortable. When I have my hair done or a pedicure/manicure I like to feel relaxed and that’s the experience you’ll find at Paris Parker Jefferson

Moved to the area a year ago and had to start the dreaded hunt for a new stylist. First couple salons were a bust, but you guys, the hunt is over. Not only was it super easy to make an appointment, but Julia was totally sweet and gave me the exact cut I was looking for. I cannot recommend this salon enough.

I got a cut and highlight which looked just fine. However, scheduling is a huge pain and I’ve had a couple unpleasant encounters with front desk staff. I’ve decided to go elsewhere which is a shame since my stylists were good.

I have been a client of Paris Parker long before they acquired the salon from Sam Brocato. I’ve used every service they offer but for the last several years, I have been using them primarily for Pedicures. The one star rating is by no means a reflection of the service by the nail technicians. They are fantastic… specifically Ms. Pat and Lakita. My complaints are related to 1) The ongoing issues they have had with the pedicure chairs for well over a year. The problems range from high pitched continuous screeching sounds to drain issues and most recently the inability to not be able to sit comfortably in the chair. On my visit yesterday, 2 of the 3 chairs were not functioning and the only one semi-functional one would not allow you to adjust the chair, requiring me to literally scoot my behind so far forward that I was practically in a full horizontal position. The nail technician also had to contort to reach my feet. Uncomfortable does not begin to describe it. I left the salon with a back ache like no other. I complained to the assistant manager on the way out and she offered no apology… just smiled and said«Oh yea there is a part on order». After phoning the manager, she seemed sympathetic but said that while she is aware of all of the issues with the chairs, it was really out of her control, and that she would address it with her management. Paris Parker markets themselves as a high end salon. Paying a premium price for a service only to leave in pain is not acceptable. I work out vigorously 6 times a week and have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but that situation was ridiculous. As uncomfortable as I was, the nail tech has to get very creative in order to physically reach their client’s feet. It’s insane. Complaint number 2) Wi-Fi works only intermittently, so if you’re going to catch up on e-mail or surf the web, it is hit or miss. That’s not a deal breaker for me but it is an annoyance that they really should have a better handle on. If either of these issues had been isolated incidents, I would have overlooked it, but this has been on their radar for a long time. Also, considering that I have been a client for decades, I would have expected a little more interest on their part, in retaining me as a client. So, I’ll be taking a break from Paris Parker. There are far too many other spas/salons in BR that are worthy of an opportunity for my business… The Gallery, Bumble Lane, Woodhouse, ZaZa’s etc. I’ll miss Ms. Pat and Lakita.

I received a wonderful wax from Maggie Jones. It was not only quick and painless but she was also very professional. I will defiantly be back.

Started coming to this salon August 2013! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. If you aren’t satisfied with the person cutting your hair now go see Rachel F. she always does an amazing job!
