Laser Tag of Baton Rouge

The prices are reasonable and though its been around for a few years now it still is a lot of fun. There’s no time to get bored because Laser Tag Games are held every 20 minutes and there’s an arcade and concessions available.

When we are here we usually have a good experience. Today as I sit here I am watching all the employees either play on cell phones or on the computer.
Not unusual for teenagers right? Well it is today considering they have zero trash cans out for customers to use and only have trash bags thrown on the floor to use. I really hope they do not literally expext me to pick up a trash bag and have to use it for trash.
Not sure if it is just because they are being lazy on this lovely Labor Day holiday or if they actually have a ligit reason to have no trash cans out.
Not happy with this and may not be back if they can’t be a sanitary place to bring my family. Disappointed to say the least.

My husband and I are basically giant nerdy kids, so when we found LToBR, we geeked out pretty hard.
Walking in, it doesn’t look like much. There are a couple of tables to sit and eat pizza, some arcade games, and the front desk. Up the stairs is a large banquet room full of tables and chairs with private party rooms available. From there, we went through the door to view the current laser tag game in play… I almost peed myself I was so giddy. We immediately hustled down to the desk and signed up for the next couple of games.
The laser tag arena is big and well built. This is no cheesy black-​lit room with random partitions sprayed with tacky grungy neon paint. The arena is two stories tall, with ramps instead of stairs for players to get between the two levels. There are full walls with windows (open, not glassed) and bases and nests. The arena is lit enough to see in front of you, but dark enough that you have to rely on the enemy’s blinking lights to notice them. The music keeps you pumped and you get a little voice in your vest letting you know when you get a power up. There are even separate nests up on the second floor for people to gun down players without needing to maneuver around the arena.
Of course you want to go on busy night, and if you’re a novice avoid member nights or you’ll get schooled.
Games hold up to 44 players at a time and last 7 minutes. Public games start every 20 mins. There are also age/​height requirements, so if you have little ones, you might wanna check that out so no one gets set up for disappointment. They are pretty strict when enforcing the «no running» policy and will boot you out if you’re busted more than once, but that’s for everyone’s safety. With so many corners and hiding places, it’s easy to plow into someone and take them out… which is no fun for anyone.
Prices are somewhat reasonable, although it’s always a good idea to browse the web for deals before you go.

…except that wasn’t true when I was here.
First, I went here a couple years ago so things may have changed for the better, but when I was there playing laser tag, I had an overall bad experience. I remember being grabbed by my shirt collar when I was playing laser tag with my friends. The employee warned me to «stop running around for the second time» except he grabbed the wrong person. When I told him that this was my first warning, he screamed at me and said he would kick me out. The way he acted was unprofessional and disgusting. I definitely will not be coming back here when I am in BR. I suggest laser tagging somewhere else such as Skate Galaxy.
