Specialties
Integrative Bowling brings an ongoing instructional format, and introduces a tai chi «energy» perspective to the bowling form. The founder/instructor is a former professional bowler/certified chi gong instructor who combines the two, with energy-based warm-ups in the meeting room, followed by three games of bowling with instructor providing roving, individual instruction. ALL students start their first two classes one hour early to learn the new form and warm-up routines. All levels, total beginners to advanced, are welcome to our classes.
Learn how to bowl, learn how to bowl better, learn about your energy.
History
Established in 2012.
It started with the stance. After bowling for 25 years, our founder started studying chi gong. The second day she learned the Standing meditation and was amazed that it was essentially her bowling stance (without the bowling ball, of course!). The similarity of stances made her realize that she’d found a new home in chi gong, and since that day eleven years ago, a fusion of bowling and chi has been percolating in her brain. Integrative Bowling is the result.
