Not the best Hilton experience. Smoking is allowed in this hotel. My floor smells like smoke. My room has a funky smell, the bathroom floor is sticky, the AC unit makes a ton of noise and is filthy. No outlets near the bed to plug your phone in. Outdated décor, stains dripped down the door and on the curtains. I wanted to check out after I checked in.

Not my best experience at Hilton. I think it is management problem. Staff was friendly. Room was clean although the bathroom fixtures were rusted and outlets on desk did not work. Needs some care. No coffee in lobby! Staff said«Recent changes from corporate.» I mentioned we had stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Denver and San Antonio on this same trip. He stammered a bit. I asked for a free coffee from their pantry and he graciously complied. Hmmm, management trying to make money from their Keurig? Quiet and comfy, but not to Hilton standards.

Worst Hilton I’ve ever stayed at… I’m an Hilton Honors member and this hotel staff was horrible. The garbage they serve for breakfast isn’t worth 13 dollars per person. What hotel do you stay in that you pay 13 for children to eat breakfast. Breakfast of oatmeal toast eggs and cereal for 13 dollars. When I asked to speak to a manger he was a weak excuse of a manager. He didn’t even want to discuss my issues he was scared to come talk to me fave to face. The manager finally comes to the front desk and all he does is talk in circles. My family and I are in Baton Rouge La for a funeral so we’re ready going through and then to have the issue we had with breakfast. I really want to rate this dump zero stars…

Never stayed here before! I came here with a friends family for a baseball tournament this weekend. Checking in was quick & the workers were all so kind! The place inside is actually really pretty and has cute décor. We ate at the Buffett this morning and it was awesome, I recommend asking for the omelet mine was great. Tonight we ate dinner there and shared wings and a Caesar salad it was so filling and the best! Once again the service was great. Really recommend this place and there food. The rooms have plenty of space too and really comfy beds!

This hotel is very nice but it is in the middle of nowhere. Close to the airport but not to the city, the Hilton Garden Inn is really only convenient for air travelers who need a place to sleep before or after a flight. The staff are very friendly and had a few recommendations for food in the area. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Most of the visitors seemed to be in town for weddings or family reunions and they took over the lobby area for most of my one night stay. The lobby area had food for sale during most meals but also had free coffee and cookies throughout the day. Overall, this was a good hotel for passing through but wasn’t really near anything of value other than the airport.

I had a fantastic stay here. I’m a newbie to Hilton, but was really impressed with this location. The staff was pleasant and made sure that I was comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and clean! Most of the fixtures are updated and the bed was comfortable, so what more can you ask for!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the cook to order breakfast and the coffee was spot on! If I am ever back in Baton Rouge I most definitely will be back! Two thumbs up from me Hilton! You rock!

We stayed here this weekend while we were in town for a friend’s wedding. I was very happy with our visit. The room was a typical carbon copy of most, if not all other Hilton Garden Inn locations. It is literally right across the street from the airport. It’s not a large airport, so you don’t need to worry about hearing airplanes taking off & landing all night. You can hear a few during the daytime. There is room service available and a restaurant downstairs. There were many options available within the hotel(for kids: Mac & Cheese, PB& J, Grilled Cheese) and everyone in your party will likely find something they would enjoy. If not, there is a Burger King, Subway, IHOP, and Sonic within walking distance of the hotel. While we were there, we saw that a Dominos pizza was being built, so there will probably be quick pizza delivery to the hotel in the near future. There is a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave in the room. Our room and bathroom were both clean — I am a stickler for cleanliness! I was also pleased that the bath towels were stored on a high metal shelf inside the bath/shower section. I never like it when the bath towels are stored on a shelf right above the toilet(something seen in most moderately priced hotel rooms). Germ savvy people know that toilet germs can fly as high as 6 feet every flush! The staff was also very courteous and an employee even pressed the elevator button for us when she saw that our hands were full. They seem to go out of their way to be courteous here. Downsides — there wasn’t a free outlet close to the nightstand. I like to have my cellphone with me at night on my nightstand, and after a day out, it usually needs an overnight charge. The outlets right by the nightstand were being used for the lamp, phone, and alarm clock. Some hotels have plugs located in the base of the lamp, and that’s always nice & convenient. Also, there were no in-room movies. There were lots of channels to choose from, but I always like to rent movies in the room. There was not a DVD player, either. We went down to the breakfast on our last morning. It’s kind of like a buffet and you can get anything you want; french toast, pancakes, waffles, omelets, cereal, bagels, breakfast meats, etc. It’s nice, but it’s $ 12 per person, no matter what you eat. Kind of expensive for some people in my party who just eat two jelly-covered biscuits for breakfast. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay here again!

I’m VERY unhappy with my stay there… and that in 4yrs of travel is rare… I didn’t want this to be such a bad experience but really I will never step into another Hilton Garden Inn just based on my experience last week. First the pros: two steps away from the airport. Large parking lot. Huge room. What happened you ask? Being a seasoned traveler I always make my research before booking a hotel, this had gotten decent reviews everywhere I looked so I figured it’s a safe place to be for a couple of nights. Location was easy to find, checking in was simple enough, I got in around 7:00pm, got a large 1 bed suite(i was happy then!) and then went out to dinner with a client. Much later that night, when I decided to finally go to bed at midnight, the horror started… the bed was peppered with HAIR… seriously, not one, not two but a MILLION of them everywhere inside the bed, on the pillows, just all over the place… it was clear that housekeeping did not change the sheets after the VERY hairy last person that was there!!! Gross!!! I picked up the phone and called Guest Services… Of course the receptionist was alone, and she simple told me: «well the only thing i can do for you is get you some fresh sheets, if you want to come down and pick them up» Really!!! Offering to change my room was not an option??? I was too tired to move rooms anyway and just wanted to go to bed — I got the sheets(and I had to make 2 trips to get the RIGHT sheets) made my own bed(still can’t believe it!) and went to sleep. Or tried to… the AC was just not working right and I just couldn’t get the temp under 74 °F Grrrrrr… I figured the next day, I’d hear from the manager with an apology or SOMETHING, but no, nothing. My room wasn’t even made by the time I got back to it at 3:30pm… That evening, as I was settling in bed… I notice movement on the wall…(thank god for the mirror!) sure enough on the wall over my bed a HUGE cockroach!!! Seriously as big as my finger! That was it… I mean I can’t take this anymore, it doesn’t matter WHERE i was in this property my skin was crawling. I’ll NEVER stay there again. Ever. And I don’t care if I am a Gold Hilton Honors card holder, at this rate I am considering never staying at a Hilton again.

I’ve stayed here numerous time and never had any problems. The hotel is very clean and the staff are nice and accommodating It’s close to the airport but there is not much around unless you get in the car and drive. Overall a nice place to stay.
