I didn’t have a pleasant experience here. I went in for a full set. Got charged more for getting them longer but nothing crazy long. Extra $ 5. Then the guy took at least an hour on just my acrylic. It ended up lumpy and the acrylic never fully dried. I think they use a slow drying acrylic so they can sculpt it at their pace and it felt sticky even after polish. One nail broke the very next day. I went in and requested a refund. They gave me a hard time. Then they said they had to cut my nails with a fingernail clipper because they don’t give anything for free. He kept saying you want these nails for free and wear them for free for two weeks. It doesn’t work that way. I shouldn’t have to pay for it at all in my opinion. I asked if he was going to remove them completely and he said no. I said whatever. Took the refund and let him cut them because I was tired of complaining and needed to get to another nail salon to get them fixed. They were so so nice the day before and so rude the next day.

Went to Five Star Nail Salon because of the good prices and definitely was not expecting such great service! A full set was $ 25 and I don’t have one single complaint. Paul continuously asked me if I liked them and fixed my nails accordingly to make them just the way I wanted.
They take their time to make sure everything comes out neat and are willing to answer any questions you may have. Extremely affordable and I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Had appointment for 330pm. Got here at 320. Promptly sat in pedicure chair and left here to sit. As others are walking in and immediately getting service. NO APPOINTMENT. Maybe that’s where I went wrong. Making one. Not impressed at all

This nail salon is now called inails. The staff here is really nice. The pedicure water they started wasn’t hot… I like it scorching. They didn’t really scrub my feet that much at all. That is a must for me at nail salons since I get calluses. I went with a friend so that made the experience better and the Unilocal discount did too, but I don’t think I will be back.

Well it’s not good…
Polish job okay but the overall pedicure was horrible.
No massage, nail shaping or even callus removal. My nails were not even cut or shaped.
I even upgraded the pedicure to the deluxe.
30 $ for a polish is too much… I would not come back or recommend to anyone!

Weather winter snow storm in Philadelphia had me seeking a nail salon, Mike was excellent, I am extremely pleased with my experience! Paul the owner introduced himself to me, first class. Salon was clean, efficient, reasonably priced and my nail technician had a high degree of competency. Lovely finished product!

Very friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for a year, and they are great. The wait can be long sometimes, but it’s worth it because they do a really good job.

I had Paul apply eyelash extensions, and he was very professional and catered to my needs/​questions.
I have since returned to get them filled, and received the same, great service.
Definitely request Paul!

I’m giving this establishment a two for terrible service. My guest and I sat in the pedicure chairs immediately but waited for about 10 minutes before getting a technician. We were then asked if we wanted a basic pedicure or the deluxe which showed the difference of a sea salt scrub on the legs and a hot towel. I chose basic and my guest chose deluxe. For neither package did they cut down toe nails, sufficiently scrub away dead skin on heals, or massage feet and lower legs. These are basic things that happen in any standard pedicure. My guest and I were so disappointed that we canceled on getting our nails done and went to another establishment to fulfill our needs. The staff was polite but unfortunately the service was not up to par.

I was referred here by one of my good friends. Boy, I am glad I came. I showed the guy a picture of what I wanted, and he was more than happy to do it. He took his time, and was very personable and did not rush. He even talked to me the whole time, and asked if I wanted something to drink. Excellent customer service, and an even better nail job! Will be back definitally!

Terrible service. Given it was super busy since everyone was off due to the snow when I went here, so I understand that they were rushing on me. But why did my the technician try to convince me to get the signature package? Imagine if I did, I would have tried to get my money back. I opt for deluxe package for the sea salt scrub and all she did was slap the salt on me and didn’t even massage it in. I definitely did not get what I paid for. I tipped her because it’s common courtesy, but she did not deserve it.
To add to the lack of services, she couldn’t even polish my nails. It looked like globs of nail polish and something a 5 year old child could do. To add to my frustration, my polish didn’t even stay on for a day. It all peeled off by the end of the day. I had to redo my own polish the next day, and it’s last me longer than theirs. Like my friends who joined me said, you paid $ 55 for a foot bath and a poor polish job.
Will never return here.

While in from out of town, I came in for solar nails. Paul gave great attention to detail and did not rush. He is extremely personable and kind. While there, I decided to get a full set of Extreme mink lashes. His work is exceptional and his prices are much better than salons at my home. He was so great, that I decided to get a pedicure. He gave me the best pedi I’ve had in months. I only wish this salon was local for me!

I wanted to get a full for the nova lash eyelash extensions I have. I did some research and Paul, owner of Five Star, has advanced training. I was so impressed with him. He is such a nice person and so calm and accommodating! After my service, I was so pleased that I ended up having a pedicure just because I felt so comfortable with him.
I would suggest Paul anytime! A wonderful person and a master at his craft!

All I have to say is ask for Drake. He is the most personable person I’ve ever had that did my nails. (Does that sound bad??? :/​) Anyway. I love him. We have fun talking, laughing, just plain cuttin up the entire time he does my nails. Be sure to get the new sea salt scrub and passion fruit lotion for both hands and nails. I did! Today I got shellac Hard Rock (a lovely red) on my nails and toes OPI’s DANKE-​shiny red.
The prices are reasonable and you can «check in on Perka» to receive $$ discounts iNail has the largest OPI color selection EVER.

Came in from out of state needed a fill and got an awesome job from Paul… if I ever come back this way I will be sure to stop in for a pedi and a fill… Thank you Paul for such a great job and friendly conversation!

Personally, my pedicure was amazing (I got the best option), but I went in with my best friend, aunt, & sister and we all had problems with our manicures. They could not paint well, the paint on my aunts toes came right off & my best friend’s shellac has already come off. The paint job on my fingernails is iffy. I’m sure they do a great job for some people, but this was just not a good job at all.

I must admit, I was so displeased with the service at this salon that I created a Unilocal account just to write a review. The quality of services and the experience itself truly is hit or miss. I have frequented this salon on and off for the past couple years. Some visits are great. However, lately, the majority have been disappointing.
Last week I went in for a mani, toenail repaint and lip wax. It was not during a peak time, but there was a bit of a wait. The technician who did my nails did not push back or trim my cuticles, nor did he even clip a couple of my toenails. I actually had him refile my nails as they were uneven and jagged after his first attempt. The second was not much better.
The polish job itself was terrible. He did not polish to the end of my nails, leaving a ridge of white peaking through. It was also uneven with some parts heavy and goopy and others barely painted. The overpainted areas were still damp 4 hours after my appointment. Needless to say, my mani was smudged and cracked before I went to bed that night. The polish on my toenails was especially sloppy.
Unfortunately, it is so dark in the salon that you can’t inspect your nails properly while you are there. I went back the next day in the morning to have them fix my nails.
I wish I could say that I was pleased with my second trip there. A different technician redid my mani completely and repainted my toes. The polish job was essentially the same: not to the end of my nails and uneven. It was passable and I was fed up at that point.
I won’t be going back to this nail salon.

I asked for a mani– pedi. shellac because I didn’t want to wear flip flops. the guy that did the pedicure was very good. the woman who did my manicure did a lousy job. I don’t live in BR, so I couldn’t ask for them to fix it. The polish started peaking the second day. She did not push my cuticles properly and now it looks like my nails have grown out a lot. She did the manicure while I was in the chair having the pedicure my arms were in an awkward position and it was distracting having both at the same time. I am disappointed because it was very expensive – $ 25 additional for the shellac. I have had a manicure and pedicure in the town where I live and they did a superior job to what I got at Five Star … now calling themselves iNails.

Today I went to this shop. I was pleased to be seen rather quickly. The guy that did my nails was really nice, even helped me to pick a color. He had great conversation too! Shortly I realized he was drake from Sabrina’s review. Anyway I thoroughly enjoyed conversation and my nails look great! I will be coming back when I’m in town!

My roomie goes here so I decided to give it a try. I normally don’t get pedicures but my experience was pleasant. The staff were quick to get us started :) there’s a decent amount of colors to pick from too! The space is a little cramped, but it’s bigger than you think.
I got suckered in and got the sea salt scrub for an extra $ 5, totally my services to $ 30 (if i remember correctly).
Btw, it gets busy around 5 – 7.
