I’ve been coming to this place for 15 years. It’s gone through a number of transformations along the way but the one thing that has stayed the same is that they have consistently great baristas and consistently great coffee. Along with that they have solid WIFI access and they have clean and well maintained bathrooms. Great service, Great coffee, solid WIFI, clean bathrooms. What else do you need in a good coffee shop?

I really wanted to avoid writing a review like this because I love CC’s Coffee and haven’t had any problems like this at any other location in Baton Rouge. First of all, this is the closest location from my house which also happens to be in the same immediate area my wife works, so we go here a lot. However, after our last experience we will never be back. We always get the same thing, it’s not a complicated order by any means. Usually they forget to put sweetener in our coffee which I just kind of accept as a typical experience here, but this time when we received our latte’s, they were filled with coddled milk. Yes, I’m serious. Luckily, we immediately tasted it so we didn’t drink enough to get sick. We will never, ever be back. Which sucks because now we will have to go out of our way to get coffee. Really wished this place would get it together before it came to this.

This little coffee shop is located on a busy corner across from P. Rowe, which works to their advantage. Nice amount of seating with tables large enough to get«work» done. This is a great coffee shop to have a meeting or catch up on some reading. The staff was very knowledgeable of the menu offerings. I ordered a sugar free caramel mochasippi Frappé. Boy! Oh boy was it good. Overall I had a great experience and I look forward to trying more items from the menu.

I have always gotten great service from this location, it’s only unfortunate that there is another location that’s more convenient for me. Until today, when they wowed me, again. My obsession with CC’s comes in large doses of their brewed teas, esp the Honey Peach. On one occasion I ordered a grande with extra ice, I was automatically upgraded to a super grande to make up for the room. Another time they were out of the tea I wanted, I happily changed to something different and turns out my tea was on the house. Another time, a grumpy old man complained to one of the workers that I waited too long(in which I did not) and my tea AGAIN was on the house.

«Coffee, teas, pastries and FREE wi-fi». It cannot get better than this… all they need are some comfy couches! The comforts of home: freshly brewed coffee, hot teas, fresh-baked pastries and FREE wi-fi! I truly mean it when I say they need comfy couches. The next best thing to comfy couches in a coffee shop are cushioned seats(in my eyes). Unfortunately, they do not have them here… the cushions are so old and warn out that if you are wearing shorts or dress your skin will pinched when you sit down! Now, for those who know me and the line of work I am in definitely know that I value the existence of coffee shops! For some people, who work remotely, a coffee shop serves as their office, so it should be comfortable, right? Anyway, this place would have received 5-stars from me because I love the coffee, pleasant service and cleanliness, but those seat cushions must be replaced! All the CC’s Coffee House I have seen have gone through a make-over, so why not go all the way and replace those cushions! Anyway, I may just have to bring a blanket to sit on the next time, so my legs don’t get pinched when I get up from the seats! If the seats get fixed, 5-stars will eventually dawn my review!

This was a clear sign to knock off on the coffee. Ii got settled to do some work and went to the counter to order and the young man working the window sneezed into his hand. To his defense he tried to cover up by putting his shirt over his mouth… He missed. But took a order from the counter and give it the unsuspecting patriot in the drive-thru with that same hand… As my God-daughter would say… «Ya Ya Yuckyyyyy» someone ask me «How can I help you?» Naaaaa I’m good, a fresh order of mono, and a side of h1n1 sounds delightful but… I’ll pass.

Cc’s has grown on me. It still smells like burnt coffee inside but somehow the coffee you drink isn’t burnt and actually tastes pretty good.

Slow drive through service is not uncommon. Turkey sausage is ALWAYS cold on breakfast sandwich.

This was my home for 4 years while in grad school. The employees were super nice, the atmosphere was perfect for working, internet always worked well, hours were great, and most importantly, the coffee was fantastic! Sometimes you did have to fight for booth space near an outlet, but that just means it’s popular for a reason! I loved this place and miss it terribly now that I’ve moved out of state.

Love this cc’s. I’m a coffee snob and this place produces an au lait to die for. Friendly staff, easy to get to location practically across from Perkins Rowe. Oh, and there’s a really cute barista that looks JUST like Zooey Deschanel.

Something tells me if you’ve been to a Starbucks, you’ve probably been to a CC’s as well. The only difference is, CC’s has a much nicer staff, it’s far less«corporate» than Starbucks is, and is most importantly to the locals, a Louisiana brand. Has it converted me to enjoy coffee on a regular basis? No, but would I prefer a CC’s over one’s average Starbucks? Absolutely. The legions of caffeine addicts, which include most of my Louisiana friends, make this place their frequent stop for the morning runs and afternoon coffee boosts. And with good reason too, the staff is nice here, the wifi is free and plenty of space to lounge and relax. There is also a drive-thru, which seems to be their busiest outlet. I am sure the day I enjoy drinking coffee, will be the day I come to CC’s on a much more frequent basis.
