Greek and Lebanese Café
History
Established in 1998.
March of 1998 was the spark in our life when my mom and dad rented an old pizza hut building, located on 3221 Nicholson dr. My parents changed it to Atcha Bakery & Café. We started working very, very hard and almost all day long. We were specialized in baking the baklava, the ashta, and of course the daily fresh pita bread. Slowly, slowly we changed the place from an exclusively baking place to a restaurant as customers had suggested. My dad’s ethics and good public relations increased the number of customers who loved the place.
We owe God, our Bestowal, our sustainer, the great deal of gratitude for our success, and then we thank our dear and most beloved friends and customers who put us in Baton Rouge’s map like Mr. Max Labranch, Mr. Job Serebrov and of course Mr. Chet Folk of the Advocate who exposed Atcha Bakery widely.
