Business Owner

Richard Akin, DDS, MD, earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Doctor of Medicine from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Following his graduation from the LSU Medical School, he completed his surgical residency program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU and Charity Hospital in New Orleans. He is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

He has been practicing in Baton Rouge since 2006. He has extensive experience in implant dentistry, including advanced bone grafting procedures to aid in dental implant reconstruction. Dr. Akin has built his practice around the patient experience; performing minimally invasive procedures that shorten healing time and minimalize pain.
