Ollie’s Garage

Really good, honest, trustworthy mechanics! When I first moved here quite a few years ago I went to Ollies Garage because my neighbor referred them to me. I am a woman and don’t really know much about cars. My car had a leak. The mechanic at Ollies said it was the radiator and noticed that the radiator was fairly new. He could have fixed it for me but instead he told me to take it back to where it was fixed originally and that they should fix it for free. Ollies Garage filled up my radiator for free and sent me on my way. Since then I have always used Ollies Garage It’s hard to find someone you trust, and I trust Dave. He always takes time to explain things to me and has very reasonable prices. My car is 16 years old and thanks to Ollies Garage it’s still running smooth!

Can’t echo the other peoples experences, took my van in for maintence a week later the part they worked on broke and I was stuck on the side of the road waitng for a tow that cost $ 300.
Did not back the repair or the part which was over trorqued which caused the damage. Should have gone to the dealer would have been charged more but it would have been done right the first time.

I have been taking my cars to Ollie’s for several years now. Excellent customer service, trustworthy diagnosis, and fair pricing have kept me loyal. On occasion, they make house calls if they can afford to leave the shop and you are flexible with your schedule. I say that when, in fact, they have come out right away at times. But I wouldn’t suggest anyone expects it because they may be too busy to get to you right away. However, they do wonderful work. Only gripe is that they don’t take Amex. But for the issues that really matter, Dave and Tyler at Ollie’s Garage are the best mechanics I have ever used.

ETHICAL I have been in Batavia 3 or so years. I have tried 3 different garages. Ollie’s is fantastic! With professionals I like to hold off doing quick reviews. Big ticket item reviews should have some time and lots of experiences to back them up. I am middle aged and have lived in many places around the country. Ollie’s is the most ethical garage and mechanics I have ever dealt with. Dave and the other mechanics have done my points, plugs and wires as well as put on new breaks. In addition to that minor repairs have been taken care of promptly at a neighborly price. Dave is knowledgeable so ask some questions, listen and learn a few things. By doing so I have been saved from lots of frustration on my former 20 year old car. They do good quality work, on time and at a very very fair price. All this and with excellent ethics! Shop, buy and feel the difference of locally owned and operated businesses.

The mechanics here are trustworthy and honest! They do such a great job and they get the job done fast and right. I tell everyone I know about Ollie’s Garage I would never take my car anywhere else!

I’m still working on trusting Ollies, and not because of anything they have or haven’t done, but just because mechanics are tough to trust, especially being a woman without a lot of auto mechanic knowledge.
My last experience there was top-​notch and my trust is growing! Everything, from the initial phone call, through the final pick up, was EASY and as promised. No surprises, no difficulties. In this day and age, that is a blessing.
Both the woman who took my initial call and the mechanic that I worked with (sorry, forgot his name) were friendly, personable and again, easy to work with. My car was fixed on time, and as promised. The job was reasonably priced and no pressure for anything additional.
I have taken my other car here before for some minor work and although I had a small issue with squeaky brakes after they were installed, Dave took every step he could to try and rectify the problem. He was patient and understanding. I still have squeaky brakes in the winter time, but there appears to be no harm done and its not an issue in my mind.
I will be returning here for further work — great job by everyone at Ollies. You are trustworthy, and the way you run your business is much appreciated!

Very fair and good work, I service my Classic Camaro and tour family cars here. Dave makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t pile up the charges. Work is done on time and within budget. Car is respected and all promises are kept. Highly recommended

I work down the street from Ollies, so I have had to drop my truck off there a couple of times. They do good work, on time & it is fairly priced.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.
