Meet the Business Owner
Karen C.
Business Owner
Karen has practiced art for many years, using it as a tool in therapy, working as a social worker, as fun with the children in the day care she ran and with her own children for fun and learning. Family vacations always included a visit to the local art museum where there is always something to ooh and aah about.
Fiber arts were taught to her at a very young age as part of the skill base her female relatives thought she should have to be successful. Crochet, hand sewing, machine sewing, embroidery and pattern making were all taught and practiced. These same skills were taught to her own family members. Karen very much enjoys hand embroidery and turning her needle to Crazy Quilting.
Her love for art and craft in all it’s forms led her to making her projects at home and selling them on the internet. This led to the decision to make the «big leap» to a brick and mortar store. She has continues her education to this day by attending classes/certifications in order to teach others.
