The only reason I have given this hotel a single star at all is simply because they provided us with a bed and running water.
This hotel makes me feel as if I am an inconvenience to them, even though I am the guest.
SMOKE:
The third floor of this hotel is a smoking floor, however they will put you in these rooms without 1) telling you or 2) changing you to a different room. But the cigarette smoke is not limited to just the third floor. Even the lobby (where «breakfast» is served) has an overpowering odor — clearly no one payed attention to the «No Smoking» signs.
STAFF:
The staff is never available for any comments, questions or concerns. When you finally do catch them in their spare moment, they seem either uninterested, bothered or just waiting for their next smoke break (I know because they always have a pack of cigarettes handy on the concierge counter). They openly belittle their housekeepers: «Our housekeepers are garbage.»
In summary, I will not be coming back and I do not recommend it. There is a nice Holiday Inn only a few miles away.

I wish I could give 0 stars. My wife and I were in town to visit family and had to stay at this hotel… I would have rather stayed in a cardboard box. To start things off… we called and booked a few days in advance for our 3 day stay. To which we had to take a room on the smoking floor. yuck. well. when we arrived at the hotel they had not cleaned the room yet (we arrived at midnight.. which is 9 hours past the 3 o’clock check in time when all rooms are supposed to be ready.) Then they noticed they did not book us for the 3 days we paid for since there was a large convention in town and we did not want to lose the room. So. they «upgraded» us to a whirlpool room. well… whirlpool is broken, carpet coming up off the floor and sides of whirlpool, tiles broken and removable from the 4 foot by 5foot bathroom. There is framing exposed all around the elevator, the floor in the elevator is extremely sticky and nasty. Oh and I almost forgot to mention that housekeeping skipped right over our room so we had no towels and no fresh sheets. Also we had to plug the phone in ourselves which we found out after the first full night there and then it was full of messages from people trying to book a room because they couldn’t get through to the main phone. Reason for that is they had a new person training and they left the phone line open for 6 hours. no one could call the front desk. from anywhere. We will never be staying here again and would NOT recommend this place to anyone… ever… tvs are the big heavy box tvs with crap reception and sound. pictures and channel selection were horrible also. One last thing. … took a shower just to be standing in several inches of water and other objects that did not come from my body… the draining is extremely slow and I have no idea what was coming up from the drain. The tub was filthy to begin with and we cleaned it our selves.
