American Irish did an outstanding job of restoring a stamped concrete patio and walkway. We had the patio and walkway put in during construction of our home 15 years ago. The color faded after one year (due to poor contractor workmanship) and after 2 years it really looked bad. I hired another concrete company to evaluate why it looked so bad. Their advice was to just power wash and reseal with a clear coat substance. Taking their advice we hired them to do the work. It was expensive and we questioned their method, but not knowing anything about concrete they went ahead and did the job. By the end of the summer the coating crystallized and became white. After numerous complaints we just gave up. Now, 13 years later we found Isaac and American Irish Concrete. Isaac explained the entire process and why the other company’s sealant didn’t work. He suggested recolorizing and sealing properly. He is very knowledgeable about concrete, the process and especially how to go about restoration on our patio. We hired him to do the work and could not be happier. Our patio is looks great, well above our expectations. Isaac took the time to demonstrate the colorizing process and walked us through it before he started. He took extra time to recolor chips and imperfections one by one. The patio and walkway look better than when it was originally done. The only problem we (I) have now is that my wife wants to buy all new patio furniture to go with the «new» patio!

Isaac is a guy you wish could be in charge of all of your projects. Not only is he extremely nice, cordial and professional, he is extremely knowledgeable. I needed a pad for a garage poured on a slope, and Isaac worked very closely to determine the best approach on thickness, foundation, backfill, rebar, etc., all keeping in mind my budget We discussed 3 different ideas over the course of a couple of visits and I am extremely please with the outcome. I don’t know too many people that would spend the time to analyze the best solution as painstakingly as Isaac did. There is no question American Irish Construction does a phenomenal job!

I will do my best to describe how pleased I am with the service and the quality of the work that was done by American Irish but the only word that comes to mind is amazing.
We had gotten many quotes to take on our back yard project. American Irish was by the best out there. Most of the companies that came out didn’t build much value in the services that they provide. With Issac I felt completely at ease. He took his time to explain the hole process to my wife and I and took all stress away. We wanted our old plain patio to be removed and we wanted to extend it a little farther as well. He showed us multiple pictures of recent projects that they had completed and showed us his vision of what could be done. He took the time to make sure everything was taken care of and done right. Not only did we replace the patio but we replaced the walk way from our driveway as well.
I could go on and on about how completely satisfied I am with the end result. But like I said before the only thing I can say is that the whole process from start to finish is that it was simply amazing.
If you are looking for any concrete work to be done don’t waste your time, call up Issac. You will not be disappointed.

Our family decided now was a great time to replace our deck with a cement patio. We contacted and met with a couple other concrete companies and Isaac was by far the most helpful. You could tell he is really passionate about his work and really enjoys it. He spent as much time as needed to help plan the design of the patio. He was easy to get a hold of and very responsive from the beginning to the end. I felt as though he was actually listening to what I was saying and took a collaborative approach to help me select the size, shape and color of the patio. It’s gratifying to know a company that actually follows through with what they say. We are very happy with the patio and look forward to using it for many years to come.

I am as picky of consumer as there is and I had many quotes for my rather large 2+ car wide driveway. Issac Correa & his company were not the lowest quote, but by golly, he offered the most quality for the price. The yard was hardly disturbed when they were completed and we’ve had many compliments from neighbors & city workers as well. He put in concrete that has a fiber in it to help prevent cracking & provide strength. Isaac has provided fantastic follow up since the job was completed. His crew was very professional and friendly too. I can’t recommend American Irish Construction Co enough! They are fantastic. Even my dog liked him and was so excited to see him when he returned to do the sealer. Go ahead and get quotes from the rest, but when you are ready to make your deal, choose the best & that’s Isaac’s company.

In the spring of 2014, my wife and I began interviewing prospective contractors for a stamped concrete patio at our home in Geneva, IL. After meeting with three other contractors, we decided to work with American Irish Construction of Batavia, IL, because they went above and beyond what the other contractors that we met with had provided during the bidding process.
Issac, our primary contact throughout the entire project, really impressed us with his professionalism and attention to detail. He was very attentive to our initial design considerations, but also provided his own design aspects that he felt would work well with our location and anticipated uses for the patio. For example, after we told Issac that we intended to install an outdoor fireplace and pergola in the future, he took the initiative to meet with the county building department and fire district to inquire about what requirements, if any, would be necessary for these future enhancements. Additionally, he suggested several design changes to the initial plan to ensure that the patio would structurally support our future design enhancements and that they would meet existing building and fire codes.
Throughout the entire bidding process and subsequent construction, Issac quickly and accurately answered all of our questions and made a point to meet with us face-​to-​face several times before we signed our contract with American Irish Construction.
The professionalism and quality of service continued throughout the actual construction process. The construction foreman was very friendly and made every effort to ensure that our lawn was protected throughout the project. The workers were equally as professional and courteous. The work crew was very accommodating and even offered to remove extra turf that was not associated with the patio area for mulch beds along the sides of the house. The job site was also cleared of any construction debris at the completion of each workday.
The final appearance and quality of our stamped concrete patio was and remains simply breathtaking. My wife and I do not have any negative remarks after using American Irish Construction and anticipate using them for any future concrete projects.
In summary, American Irish Construction’s obvious attention to customer service, professionalism, and the quality of the completed project was beyond exemplary.

As Susan has stated in the prior review, Isaac the owner is a great man and his work is just as good. Trustworthy, loyal, helpful, and kind are the words that come to mind to explain who he is. I plan on using him again in the future for any future projects I come across. Just to make sure that I picked the right guy before he had done some work for me, I went to the local Home Depot in Geneva, IL and Isaac was the only guy they recommended for the job.

I chose to go with American Irish Construction after receiving 4 quotes from local competitors and am very happy I did. The end result turned out even better than I’d hoped. I had American Irish remove an existing concrete patio slab and pour a new stamped concrete patio around 700sqft. Isaac was punctual, professional and explained everything in great detail throughout the entire process. He thoroughly answered all my questions and fulfilled all commitments. Isaac and his team went above and beyond what was asked of them. Give them a call, you’ll be happy you did.

Isaac, the owner of this company, is the most professional contractor I’ve ever dealt with. His prices are fair, and he goes the extra mile at every opportunity. For example, we needed some extra work beyond the scope of our original plan, and he added it on for free. Also, he weeded our property around the area where he was working! He keeps in touch constantly, and is very communicative (unusual for a contractor). They never left a mess, and cleaned our deck because there was dust from the concrete. Oh, and the quality of the job was excellent, of course.
