History
Established in 1926.
The Schulman family has a long history in entertainment. It started in 1926 when Morris Schulman moved to Bryan, Texas, and bought the Dixie and Queen Theaters. He later opened the Palace Theater, also in Bryan. As the years passed, drive-ins and multiplexes were built, bought, and sold. Schulman Theatres remains in the family and continues today as one of the oldest movie chains in Texas still operating 4 theaters, most recently opening Lost Pines 8 in 2012.
