The Deli Depot was original established 16 years ago and has since been sold. The new owner is an experienced chef and pastries cook. The Deli Depot is a quaint little café on the main street of Bastrop Texas. The Deli prepares a hot plate special every day! There is also a special dessert every day.

Adequate sandwiches but their fruit salad was old apples and pears. They also messed up our sandwich order with no offer to fix it (my friend and I ended up having to split 1 sandwich and I am 9 months pregnant). Would not go back or recommend to a friend.

Ordered their special of the day which was a «hot» meatball sub! It is so yummy. I have eaten there many many many times since new ownership happened a couple months ago. Everything is so fresh & tasty! Enjoy her food always.

Stopped in for a cinnamon roll and coffee. The pastries were packed into a to go container and they didn’t ask us if we wanted them heated up. When we asked to have them heated up it wasn’t a big deal though… it would have been nice if they had asked us. Coffee and cinnamon roll were good, maybe it was just the young girl working the register. Relaxing environment but give your patrons some service!

Burger and grilled ham and cheese were excellent. Potato salad was not very flavorful. Ordered french fries and was told they would be right out but finished sandwiches before they came. When they arrived they were delicious hand-​cut fries. Yummy!

We ate here for Saturday breakfast alongside a few other locals and maybe a tourist or two. It was delicious and cheap! Two of my favorite things in a restaurant. Add the friendly owner at the counter and Whamo! We have a winner!

I like this place. Not 100% sure why but its what I expect from a small town café. It’s not really much of a deli store as I traditionally think of one but its closer to a café. Should be café depot frankly: P
The people working here are really nice and the owner really puts a lot of effort into this place.
Breakfast is good and I’ve eaten lunch here a couple times. What you expect from a café basically is what you’ll get.

Grabbed a quick lunch with the wife here last week.
Sandwiches were ok. Sides were a bit on the flat side.
Really nothing to write home about, but if you are in the mood for a sandwich and find yourself downtown Bastrop you could certainly do worse.

I have two coworkers who come here for lunch religiously, as in pretty much every single day. I’ve tagged along a few times. It’s definitely an establishment and has a ton of regulars. It’s located in downtown Bastrop, a bit far away, but the area’s got a small town charm to it. The restaurant is decorated with all sorts of CocaCola paraphernalia. As in every square footage of the place is covered.
The food is decent and worth paying an extra dollar or two for instead of going to McDonald’s. Nice hearty sandwiches, great service, plus they have daily specials that come with free cake! How can you say no to that?
