Astrahealth Center brings together an outstanding pool of doctors to foster collaborative, multi-​disciplinary investigation. Our physicians are continuously striving to remain up-​to-​date on the latest medical advances, allowing us to offer you the best and most modern care. We bring you an integration of modern and traditional forms of medicine to provide urgent, accessible, and affordable healthcare.

Our services include adult and pediatric urgent care, a walk-​in clinic, sports physicals, travel medicine, immigration physicals, occupational medicine, and workers’ compensation. These services are rendered by our on-​site Physician and supported by a dedicated team of medical professionals. Services we offer are highly in demand in the health sector because of our flexibility, timely execution, and promptness.

Ive used Astra in Lyons for 2 of my sons as Urgent Care. Dr Samia was awesome with my boys — great manner with them. Both times we left knowing the exact situation and what we needed to do. Based off these experiences, when my pcp or pa or np in their office couldnt see me for 2 days (even though ive been going there nearly 10 years) and i too needed a quick diagnosis for sinusitis, strep and tonisilitis Dr Samia in urgent care again came up trumps. I got seen within 5 mins of walking in. It is my new goto place. I can only say good things.

I couldn’t get into see my primary dr for 48 hours and had a terrible sinus infection. Astra took me immediately and within 30 minutes and I had met with the dr and obtained the necessary prescription. Would definitely use them again. Very professional and courteous. They even called to check on me later in the week!

I went to AHC when my primary Dr couldn’t fit me into his schedule. The staff was professional and ‘concerned’. As a walk-​in, I waited less than 45 minutes to see the nurse, who took vitals and «a test». After that, the wait for the Dr was no longer than waiting for the test results. Even with a specific appointment, I typically wait at my regular Dr for, at-​least, an hour. I never felt rushed and they did follow up with me the next day. I will use them again and recommend them.

This urgent care center is wonderful. Our family has been here for everything from an ear ache to a fractured arm. The care is excellent, prompt and the facility is very clean and modern. The staff is terrific.

RUDE! The receptionist and doctor were very nice. The nurse or nurse practitioner needs to find a new line of work. As someone who also works long hours and with people, you need to learn that people want to be treated with respect and kindness. The woman taking my blood pressure and asking questions, made nasty faces and barely looked at me. She was too busy filling out the paper work on the computer. She even tried arguing with me over when test results come back. I was merely telling her my previous history with the illness and she snapped her head around and disputed with me over the time period in which a test comes back. Once she got nasty, I stopped talking. Who wants to be yelled at when you are sick? Days later, I received an email asking to provide feedback. It said someone would be in touch and no one has gotten back to me. Despite the close proximity to my home and great hours of operation, I would rather suffer with an illness than ever go back there.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, please stay far away! Nurses and staff are great, but the doctor here is TERRIBLE! Somerset Valley Urgent Care in the hills is much better if you don’t have a primary doctor or can’t wait for an appointment, they actually take the time to examine you and don’t just rush you out the door! I’ve gone here twice and both times were just a waste of time and money! On my first visit here after a car accident the doctor told me I was fine and there was nothing he could do for me, two hours later I was in the hospital! The second time the doctor didn’t even know what he was doing, didn’t examine me, and even had to ask «if you went to your primary doctor what would he prescribe you?» he ended up prescribing me antibiotics. I went to my primary doctor the next day for a second opinion to find out I was prescribed ¼ the amount of antibiotics I should of been on and that the dose I was given is a children’s dose. They also missed the fact that I had strep throat, and that my throat was swollen so bad I had to get a steroid shot just so it didn’t close all the way since they didn’t examine me at all!

I have been here twice now and both times I was seen within a reasonable amount of time and everyone here is so nice. The first time I came the doctor called me a few days later to see how I was feeling. I really did not expect this kind of care from an urgent care type place. Very pleased!

I was actually really impressed by this place. I used this place once during the Winter. I woke up one Sunday and realized I might need x-​rays from something that had happened the previous day. I came to Astrahealth right when they opened on Sunday and had to wait for a few minutes, tops. They took my insurance and I believe I had to pay about a $ 20 – 25 co-​pay (something along those lines). The waiting room was huge and incredibly clean. It’s completely unacceptable for any medical provider to not be clean.
A nurse brought me in the room, I explained what had happened and she said the doctor would be in shortly. He was. He suggested we do x-​rays and I was really impressed by the setup they had onsite. I had the x-​rays done, the doctor reviewed them with me and I was on my way. It was completely efficient, the doctor was very professional and seemed to know what he was talking about (always a plus but not something you can take for granted). With that, I was on my way home.
I only came here because I knew nowhere else would be able to accommodate me on a Sunday. It’s a little surprising a place like this exists in a strip mall in Basking Ridge but I’m not complaining about it. I’d have no problem coming back.

Dr. Subrati was great. Very personable, relatable, and knowledgable. I was in and out within 20 minutes. Though the visit was quick, the doctor was thorough. Turned out my sore throat was strep throat. Although it would’ve been cheaper to go to the Summit Medical Group in Berkeley Heights, I’m happy I gave this place a chance! The space is cleaner, the staff friendlier, and the time spent waiting out and inside the exam room is shorter. Plus being a BR local, Astrahealth was far more convenient. Thanks for the quality care!
