Basalt Regional Library

wifi is not the best at times but you can’t beat the view :) trust me … they have several study rooms the kids and teens are well hidden that you wont even notice any kids around. best place in town. come on down and read a book or stare outside, they are building something right across from the library. not sure what hahahahah

Basalt is so lucky to have such a gorgeous library! They’ve intelligently utilized a relatively small space to offer an impressive selection. Not just in books but also in DVDs, music, and audiobooks.
The building itself is gorgeous and invites bibliophiles to stay and relax with an intriguing volume for a while. I’ve seen local kids do their after-​school studying at the tables by the windows and it somehow makes me wish I was back in grade school!
All in all, a great library; thoughtful setup, excellent selection, and friendly librarians. I also really appreciate, as a resident of Snowmass Village, that there is a drop-​box in Snowmass Center (in the hallway between Mountain Bayou and the liquor store.)
