Business Owner

Hi! I’m Allison, head chef, lead designer, and owner of Zest. I started my creative journey by graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2004 with a degree in Advertising Design, and have been working in both print and digital design ever since. Projects have been quite diverse and touched just about every industry imaginable. This experience gives me great flexibility and I always enjoy a new challenge.

A few years ago with a little encouragement from my husband, I decided to go back to school and fulfill my other obsession: culinary arts! I attended the award winning Culinary Arts & Hospitality Institute in Elgin to learn the intricacies of fine dining and creating tasty edibles.

It’s been quite a long road, but I’m happy to say I absolutely love what I do. Through my arts I look to share these passions with the world!
