Would not recommend this company to anyone. Received a one star because 0 stars are not an option. Call them and tried to explain what type of system I had and what I was looking for. Owner answer the phone and was too busy listening to himself talk to even listen to my needs. Tried to sell me a used fireplace log set that would not fit my fireplace set up. Once he realized I would not buy the set. He tried to switch me to a new set which I was okay with. He set the appointment and never showed up. I called him and not only had to remind him who I was, but that he also had an appointment. He then made an excuse and scheduled an appointment for the following day. He never showed up to that one either. Didn’t have the business courtesy to call that he would not be able to make it or was running late. Kept me waiting on two different days for multiple hours without even a courtesy call or an apology. If he treats you this way when he’s trying to get your money imagine services after he’s got it.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. We scheduled a cleaning to be done on a Saturday. He arrived and spent less than 5 minutes at our house. He told us that he couldn’t do the cleaning because our chimney needed repaired first. He then told us we had to pay $ 125.00 service charge. He NEVER disclosed that when I called to get information from the get go. He cancelled on us at least 5 times in the course of 2 ½ months. It was just one excuse after another every time I talked to him. He told me 2 weeks ago that since it was BARELY sprinkling he couldn’t do the repairs and gave me every excuse as to why he couldn’t, but offered to come and tarp our chimney the next weekend to ensure that we could get our repairs done. When I called to confirm it was going to be done this last weekend, he blew up and me stating that it would be an additional $ 100 to tarp the chimney (which he didn’t tell me 2 days prior to talking to him– he said he’d do it as a courtesy). Then he said it was still supposed to rain so he didn’t think he could do the repairs anyway (which he told us he would do no matter what the weather was like to go ahead and get it done since we had been waiting for so long). He then told me he’d leave a refund check on my front porch. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable with that and he could bring it to my office. He wasn’t happy about that, but I wasn’t going to have a check sitting out where anyone could take it. I don’t know how he has been is business for as long as he has with the way my husband and I were treated. We also had over $ 200 dollars worth of fire wood delivered, and now we cannot use it due to our chimney still being unsafe! He did say that I don’t understand how the process works. I manage over 700 commercial properties and deal with contractors every single day. He also said that his son would be helping him with the repairs. His son was with him when he dropped off my check and he couldn’t be more than 13 years old. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with that at all! NEVER use these people unless you want to be given the run around.
