Ernest Windows Inc

I have been using Ernest window Inc services for a few years now. As always, they were always professionals, on time & did a superb job in an efficient manner. In addition, their pricing r very reasonable too. I’ll definitely continue to utilize their professional service the years to come! Thank you, Ernest & his team, for the job well done!

Do not hire Ernest Windows and Gutters to clean anything. The owner is a complete — well I will leave out labels here but let’s just say he is NOT customer service friendly. We had our gutters clean by them and the clean up job was horrible. Mess all over the driveway and planting beds. I called to tell the owner and he ended up yelling at me and getting into an argument. He kept calling my house trying to engage in more yelling and I finally told him to stop calling me or else I was going to call the police for harassment. Do yourself a favor and hire another company that is willing to do the job correctly.

The price is right here. Ernest got all but one of my windows really clean – there are two annoying storm doors and when he missed a spot on one, I did not insist he redo it, though I admit I hoped he would. Two problems – he arrived early, which was inconvenient, but he worked independently. The serious issue was the mess – Ernest did not make a serious effort to contain dust and dirt – I did not inspect the entire house, since he arrived early, I was busy, and after he left, I found a mess of dirt in a bathtub that has a window over it, on upholstered furniture in my rec room, etc. I do not even know how these messes occurred.
Bottom line – the windows are basically clean and the price was right, but prepare to vacuum!

I have used them a few times in the past, but never again. I don’t have time in my schedule to chase them down, appointment after missed appointment.

I contacted Ernest regarding having my gutters and windows cleaned. He was nice enough on the phone and we made an appointment for 3 weeks out. The day before the appt, I called and left a voicemail to confirm the appt. I never received a call back. The next morning, I called again, and Ernest answered. He said he did not have my appt in his schedule. He said that they were no longer washing windows due to the low temps (mid-​Novemeber). I asked him why they wouldn’t tell me that when I scheduled the window washing for mid-​Nov. He started getting so beligerent on the phone, yelling that he couldn’t predict the weather — it is seasonable temps now, not overly cold, and is actually a beautiful day to be outside! He did say they could still do my gutters that day and would send someone between 12−1pm. At 1:30, no one was here so I called again. He started yelling at me that they had been here and they couldn’t do the gutters because they were frozen. I told him I had been here all morning and no one from his company ever came. He again started yelling at me, telling me that he’s explaining to me why he can’t do the job.
In the end, I told him it was better that I wasn’t using his company and that I would find someone else.
I will NEVER call him again!

We love Ernest Windows and have been using them for a couple years. We have always had them clean our gutters so this was the first time we had them clean our windows as well. They did a fantastic job! The windows look great and our gutters are clean. They are very reasonably priced too. We also recommended them to family and friends.

My mother highly recommended Ernie to come and clean my gutters. She had been very happy with his service. I called and requested Ernie to come out and do the job. They said they could have someone else come out within the week, or I could wait 2 – 3 weeks for Ernie to come out himself. Since the recommendation was for Ernie, I decided to wait for Ernie to come out and made the appointment. It was a 2 – 3 week wait during which we had a couple of storms that filled my gutters pretty bad so I was anxious for his visit. The night before at 8:30, I got a voice mail from Ernie telling me his guys would have to come 3 hrs earlier than our scheduled appt. I called back the following morning and told them that wouldn’t work for me as I took work off at our scheduled time. He also told me that he wasn’t coming and that his guys could do the work. I told him, I don’t doubt that they are highly capable and I’m sure they could do the work, but I’ve waiting 2 – 3 weeks for Ernie, not his guys. He was VERY reluctant to come himself and got rude with me on the phone when I asked for HIM to home as I was promised. As the conversation went on, he got increasingly «bothered» that I am asking him to come to do this «easy job». He told me he’d have to cancel some appointments to do so, but «he’d do it because otherwise I’d cancel». I really didn’t like the treatment I was getting from this guy, so I started to say…“you know what, I think I’ll just cancel and forget about it”. Before I got it out of my mouth, he hung up on me with no «goodbye» or thanks anyway. I’m a business owner, and I’d never treat a prospective client like that especially knowing it came from a referral from one of his current customers. He should have thought of it as an honor as I was told HIS work was great and that’s why I was asking for him and why I waited 2 – 3 weeks for HIM to come. Not only will I not give him my money, but my mom wont use him again and the other people that she had recommended him to, are getting calls about my treatment. Too bad he couldn’t honor what was promised to me 2 – 3 weeks earlier when I talked to his secretary to set up the appointment.

When they come, they do a good job. When they come… We have used them twice a year for several years now, and they are not terribly reliable.

I called, they came and now I have clean windows. Not only will I refer Ernest Windows Inc. to my friends & neighbors, I will use them again in the near future.
