History
Established in 2009.
Design With Chon (DWC), a boutique design studio in the greater Chicago area with defined niches in (1) visual communication, (2) event design and (3) interiors. Each of these industries are huge in themselves, but DWC has an understanding that bridges them together — color, balance, texture, order and a good eye for design. DWC’s goal is to achieve good design in all its various forms, whether it’s from the branding of your business to saying «I do» to transforming a space in your home.
Let me, «Chon,» be your go-to person for good design, color, great photography and art. A balanced environment makes you feel good, and I am here to inspire your surroundings.
Meet the Business Owner
Chon S.
Business Owner
Chon is a BFA graduate and focused her studies in graphic design, advertising and photography. The early days of her career were spent as an art director + designer in the Chicago advertising world of which she has enjoyed and gained much knowledge in smart thinking and management for business.
Event design didn’t come into play until she got married herself in 2009. After conceptualizing, designing and producing all of the décor, she discovered something huge — being the «bride» kept her from perfecting the details on her wedding day. Because of her meticulous nature, she knew her calling was to assist future brides. Event planning became another form of design in which she channels her creativity into an exciting, visual environment. The transformation of interior spaces came effortless, and it was only natural to expand her services to residential + retail interiors, too. Her understanding of color, balance, and order, allows her business to have several focuses in design.
