History

Established in 2005.

I’ve brought my passion for quilting to you. 40 years of experience as a seamstress and longarm machine quilter. I began my creative career in textile arts as a young child making my own doll clothes, adult and children’s clothing, upholstery, crewel, hand embroidery, and macramé. I made my first quilt in 1979 for my daughter – which is now re-​quilted and adorning my granddaughter’s bed.

Professional quilting, sewing, and machine rental services. My quilting services range from simple meander to a one of a kind custom to compliment your quilt. These quilts offer a unique design for displaying your fondest memories. I understand the time and love that goes into each quilt top and will treat it with the utmost care. Other services include custom christening gowns made from wedding dresses, and many other special requests.

Deb’s a member of International Machine Quilters Association, Inc. and attend the annual Machine Quilters Showcase in Kansas City. I have enjoyed numerous classes given by award winning prominent international teachers and authors including Karen McTavish, Linda Taylor, Pam Clarke, Claudia Pfeil, Sally Terry, Nicole Webb, Cathy Franks, Ricky Tims, Anne Bright, Alex Anderson, Renae Haddadin, Myrna Ficken, Becky Goldsmith, Irena Bluhm, Paula Nadelstern, DeLoa Jones, Sharon Schamber, and Dawn Cavenaugh. I follow current trends and techniques. I’m an active board member of the Prairie Star Quilters Guild in St. Charles, Illinois, a member of Professional Long Arm Quilters, and organizer of the Quilt Connection charitable quilt guild at Alcatel-​Lucent in Naperville and most recently helped organize the Northern Illinois Longarm Quilters Guild.
