having a mobile pet van, whenever anything goes wrong, it is an emergency as i’m not able to work. Every time I call these people they always manage to fit me in no matter how busy they are. They always do their best and are very knowledgeable. If your pert van needs servicing or if you own an RV that needs servicing, give these people a call!

This business is by far the best run company I’ve had the pleasure to do business with.
This spring my wife and I wanted to upgrade our C-​Class motor home to an A-​Class. We went to serveral different RV centers and left feeling like all they wanted was is a sale.
Well we went in to Barrington Motors RV and received a warm welcome. Absolutely no pressure. We were met by Matt (awesome guy) who’s knowledge on every type of RV was mind blowing. Matt took the time to really steer us in our needs and was sensitive to certain things my wife needed.
At first we looked at new RV’s which was a little over our budget and then found us comfortable with a few used low mile class –A’s. With a closer look and time to discuss things over with my wife we chose our new RV.
Matt then introduced bothmy wife and I to Sean (owner) and we discussed and negotiated the final price for the RV. Sean finished up the financing and Matt took the RV for a couple days to ensure it was turned over to us 100% ready for our camping experience. Matt took over 2 hours with me going through the whole system and how to operate the RV.
This family owned business is the best and I highly recommend them to everyone who is interested in purchasing an RV. KEEP UP THE GREAT, WARM AND UNPRESSURED BUSINESS. You have a great staff and should be proud.

Bought my first travel trailer from them the other day. Not only did I get an excellent price, the customer service was impeccable. I got a two hour tutorial on the in’s and outs of my new trailer, the sales man also offered me his cell phone number for any issues that may occur on the road, ²⁴⁄₇. They sell mostly high end class A motor homes and although I bought at the lower end of the price spectrum, the treated me as if I just dropped a half a million. I would recommend them to anyone who was in the market!

My husband and I have a dream of building a tiny house on a trailer or purchasing an RV and traveling in it. Since 2013 is the year we plan to focus on this dream, we decided to check out one of the nearby RV dealerships to learn a little bit more about RVs and see what was available. We met with one of the owners (one of the brothers) and explained up front that we were just looking and not planning to purchase anything in the super near future. Despite knowing that, he was still willing to give us his time — walking us around the site, talking with us about what an RV would need for year-​round living (especially in the winter), encouraging us to shop around (yes — even at competitors), and answering any questions we had. On top of that, he told us about an RV show in Rosemont in the next few months and proceeded to give us two passes to the show — fresh out of the box (which he opened in front of us as it had just arrived in the mail)! We left feeling a little more confident about our search. I’m not sure if we will be coming back here to purchase an RV because the prices are higher than we wanted to pay for one and we are looking for a fifth wheel — this location has mostly travel trailers and Class A and Class C vehicles — but I am glad we had a good learning experience there.

Originally I was just going to let this go, but after thinking it all over, I would be doing a disservice to my fellow man by not providing this review.
I brought two motorhomes in to Barrington RV to get an estimate on various repairs. The estimates we received were outrageous to say the least. All labor was billed at a rate of $ 109 per hour.
It didn’t take long for us to realize that we wouldn’t be having the motorhomes repaired at Barrington RV.
After speaking with Mark, the service manager, I let him know that we would be by later in the afternoon to pick up the motorhomes. When we went over to get them, they did not want to release the units to us stating that there was some sort of invoice due on each unit.
Sean, one of the brothers who owns the place was very snotty to my drivers when they were there to pick up the motorhomes. Apparently he was upset with the fact that they lost the business. But really, who would pay almost EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS to caulk up a couple seams and replace a few rotted boards? And what type of business charges almost THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS to give an estimate?
Mark was certain to let us know, however, that he was «doing us a favor» by bidding the jobs «so low». All I could do was laugh.
After paying their ransom to get the motorhomes out of hock, we left.
Any fellow RV’ers out there buying a motorhome or in need of motorhome repairs would be wise to steer well clear of Barrington RV.
In an ironic twist, my mom and dad were at their dealership during this whole debacle and are in the market for a new motorhome to enjoy. I know one place where they won’t be buying their next motorhome!
For anyone reading this who is interested, I have retained copies of the written estimates (for which we were forced to pay almost $ 300 for if we wanted the motorhomes back) and have also taken an extensive set of photos of the actual repairs that were needed.
