Aussie Pet Mobile Bartlett

I used Aussie Pet for probably 6 years. Although I loved the groomers, sometimes they would bump the appointment time because they were running late. That wasn’t too bad of a problem and I was flexible with them. The girls they sent were very sweet and treated the cats well. Unfortunately the last appointment I had with them, they apparently knocked on the door and I never heard them, and they left. They didn’t ring the doorbell or call me. I was there waiting for them but never heard the knock. Instead of offering me some kind of explanation, the owner started this conversation with me blaming me for not knowing they were sitting in my driveway and now has emailed me that they are no longer going to keep me as a customer. I have owned a yoga studio for years and would never blame a customer or let them go. instead I might even offer them a free session because of their inconvenience — even if i knew it wasn’t my fault. The owner doesn’t stand up to the situation — and places blame ultimately on the customer. Is this a way to run a business? Ive never been fired from a pet groomer, this is a first. No one is perfect. Mistakes happen. I was very understanding when the groomers were late on several occasions. I feel very insulted. I recommended this groomer to others and will withdraw any recommendations because I feel they handled this very poorly.

I am very happy with the service provided by Aussie Pet Mobile. Nancy is responsive and professional when scheduling appointments. And Sarah’s grooming of my dogs can’t be beat! It’s very convenient for me and much less stress for the dogs to have Sarah come to our house. A+!

We used the Aussie Pet Mobile on a number of times for our boxer and were extremely please each time. Their groomer, Sarah, was absolutely great. She did a great job grooming and treated him so well. I would recommend them to anyone!

I typically don’t write reviews but after the experience I had Saturday and after reading the previous review I had to comment. I have been taking my dog Harley to Petco and Petsmart for years and have had less than satisfying experiences. First off let me mention I am not the super particular pet owner so I am not judging my previous experience with Petsmart and Petco by the groom alone. Although, there seemed to never be any consistency given the turn-​over of groomers. I am judging the grooming experienced based on the assembly line fashion that those «big box» stores use. Every time I would pick up Harley his mouth would be completely soaked as well as his paws as that’s how he copes with stress. He is also not used to a cage so unless you wait for him assuming their on schedule it’s inevitable that he would be put in a cage and have a negative reaction.
So this time we tried a different approach and called Aussie Pet Mobile in Bartlett. The groomer arrived on time and provided a brief consultation on what the dog would experience. Given it was my first time using the company I watched as the groomer trimmed Harley’s nails, gave him a bath, and then proceeded to groom him. By the way, Harley is a 40 pound Wheaten so for groomers he is no «walk in the park».
As I spoke with the groomer and observed I noticed Harley’s demeanor was quite pleasant– no stress and he seemed like he actually enjoyed the experience. The groomer was better than great. He truly possessed a tremendous passion for animals and grooming which clearly showed.
After the groom Harley had no wet paws and mouth due to stress. He was very pleasant and actually tried to run back to the van. This made my wife and I feel good especially since Aussie doesnt believe in cages and Harley was not in one.
I would definitely recommend Aussie Pet Grooming to any customer who is looking for the more pet friendly alternate option to grooming. The fact that I didn’t have to pack the family up to go to the store didn’t hurt either…

I have read others’ reviews on different websites, and all I can say is «Thank GOD someone else wrote a horrible review about Aussie Pet Mobile besides me!!!» These people are butchers. They are NOT bonded or licensed. The first «groomer» who came to my house was supposedly a «vet tech.» She showed up with dog clippers to trim the nails of my three cats. She yelled through the whole thing, and she couldn’t hold the cats herself. I had to hold them down and they were COMPLETELY traumatized by this woman named Chris. On the 2^nd visit, the «owner» Nancy came. She INSISTED on taking my cats out to her van. She cut/​quicked the nails on my youngest cat SO SHORT that they were to the blood line. My cat could not walk or use the litterbox for a full WEEK after that. She cried every time we tried to touch her. I was LIVID!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not support these quacks! They WILL hurt your animals! Now I seriously doubt my cat will be able to be groomed without being sedated first, which will cost me a lot more money and will be harder on my cat. Aussie Pet Mobile is a joke, a front, and an absolute disaster. Fool me once: shame on you. Fool me twice: shame on me. I feel HORRIBLE that I subjected my animals to these charlatans on more than one occasion. Don’t make the same mistake I did (or others). DO NOT USE AUSSIE PET MOBILE!!!
